Biography of two brothers written by the wife of one. Would be interesting to physical scientists who are familiar with Varian Associates' products, e.g., NMR spectrometers, and microwave power suplies. A touching story of two brothers who complement each other's specialties. Russell Varian was innovative while his brother, Sigurd, was skillful in solidifying and materializing his brother's ideas. Nice accounts about a successful family business and its associates. Not scientific in nature.
