biography of a successful scientist and an engineer,

Biography of two brothers written by the wife of one. Would be interesting to physical scientists who are familiar with Varian Associates' products, e.g., NMR spectrometers, and microwave power suplies. A touching story of two brothers who complement each other's specialties. Russell Varian was innovative while his brother, Sigurd, was skillful in solidifying and materializing his brother's ideas. Nice accounts about a successful family business and its associates. Not scientific in nature. |
