I ordered this AC-DC converter to accompany the Black and Decker portable vacuum as suggested by Amazon. When it arrived I found it would not work. I checked the converter with my volt meter and found it produced 12 volts, but the LED dimmed under load. Customer service was very prompt and courteous in responding that they would gladly replace the item, but contacted me several days later saying the converter was on back-order and it would be at least two weeks before a replacement would be available. I opted for a refund and have purchased a more expensive converter that I hope will perform satisfactorily.

This Item is listed as being an inverter and it is not. It is a converter of American household AC current to 12V DC current as is found in your car. A good product to have and at a real good price.
IT DOES NOT CONVERT 12V DC TO 110V AC.

This item was suggested to operate with Black and Decker's car vacuum but it doesn't work. Now we are stuck with 7 of them. These vacuums were for our service techs to clean up after themselfs but what good is it if it doesn't work with this vacuum and why is it suggested to be used with this vacuum. Now we have 7 car vacuums that can't be charged using a AC outlet. Not happy.

I got this product several weeks ago to use my car's vacuum in my house, since i did not wanted to get another vacuum to clean small areas i decided to get this inverter a chance, i am very happy it works perfectly now i can even use my car's charger inside my house. about the size, its not as small as I first tough but its not a big deal.

THIS PRODUCT IS REALLY A VERY POOR PRODUCT., IT DOESN'T WORK WELL WITH MANY ITEMS YOU PLUG INTO IT,, YOU HAVE TO TRY MOVING IT AROUND TO GET IT TO WORK AT ALL AND THEN WHEN YOU PLUG SOMETHING IN ,IT MOVES AGAIN AND LOOSES CONTACT. BOUGHT THIS FOR USE WITH MY B & d VACCUM, WOULD NOT WORK WITH IT AT ALL. WOULD NOT PURCHASE IT AGAIN, I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Great price. I am using this to power an MP3 player and radio transmitter so i can play music from my computer on a portable stereo outside when partying. The MP3 player eats batteries so I love this unit.

Please don't buy this item. It didn't work for the B&D vaccum and 2 GPS I had at home. What a waste of money.

As suggested by Amazon, I bought this adapter for portable vacuum cleaner. It is cheap, but useless, no ac power. Seems contact point is bad.

Regardless of the outlet I plug this accessory into, I have yet to power anything. I should have returned it. Out of rage, I placed it in the trash and it is now long gone.
