5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended!
I got burned in the past -- especially with dot-com IPOs. But after reading Taulli's book, I realized that there are many things an individual investor can do. In fact, using Taulli's book this year, I've made money on the IPOs I participated in. Taulli makes everything very clear. What's more, he does not just focus on tech. He talks about the nuts and bolts of IPOs. He...

In fact, using Taulli's book this year, I've made money on the IPOs I participated in. Taulli makes everything very clear. What's more, he does not just focus on tech. He talks about the nuts and bolts of IPOs. He also covers such areas as biotech, retail (there is even mention of Krispy Kreme). This book is certainly highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money, December 5, 2011

This review is from: Investing in IPOs, Version 2.0 (Hardcover)
Unless you have an inside track to a company going public and are able to purchase shares at the opening price then don't waste your time. IPO's are only available for the larger institutional investors most of the time (at least as far as getting in on the lower opening prices that are sometimes available). So a book for the small individual investor for these is kind of pointless. It does have some useful information but not enough to justify the time your going to spend reading it. Just my opinion.
