“I’ve heard Hanson and McClain speak about marketing before and came away impressed. I’ve now read the eBook version of Investment Advisor Marketing and want to say the following: while marketing is often hype (“experts” who have never actually marketed anything except maybe themselves), this book is unique in a few ways. First, the voice (the writing) is first-person plural, so it’s nothing like a dry textbook. While the sheer breadth of information is impressive, it’s broken down nicely into potent bullets and small sections. I never felt overloaded or overwhelmed. Turn to just about any page and you’ll have a marketing nugget ready to help you grow. Nearly anyone with a business that relies on attracting and keeping clients can use most (if not all) of these lessons to build and strengthen their firm. While obviously I haven’t read every book on marketing, I’ve read several. This is, by far, the best one to date. I’m extremely happy with this purchase.”

This book wouldn't only be good for investment advisors, it's ideal for any business that relies on brand building and marketing to reach its audience and attract clients. Tons of budget marketing information, but then there's just as much for more established companies with established name recognition. I was very impressed and am actually sitting down to read the entire book again. I learned a lot, and just about any page I turned to had a useful lesson that is explained clearly and in a concise manner. Typically, books such as this can be overwhelming (or dull). Not so with Investment Advisor Marketing. Very useful. Very well written. Very interesting! Five stars!

Excellent insights into an aspect of business that many entrepreneurs completely miss the boat. Without clients, even the sharpest advisor's talent goes to waste. Study and apply these principles to any business!

This is a very well written book, a great read and reference to keep close by.

I read marketing books for a living … this one ranks right up there in terms of content. To some degree, it's all a numbers game. Incorporate some (or all) of the campaigns that Hanson McClain have developed, and you will absolutely increase your potential success … and build your business. It's incredibly easy to read, by the way, so there's no excuse. Buy it and read it!
