I myself am a young investor and found this book to be very easy to understand and follow. After reading this book I now feel that I have enough information to start down my own investment track. I would recommend this book to any new investor looking for some direction with their investments. Joe really hit the head on the tack with this one!

The Investment Train: Choosing the Right Track to Retirement really was helpful to me and my husband. We are in our 50s and were looking for something more than just your basic, run of the mill advice. This book offered the back-to-basics information we needed, but took things a step further to allow us to learn more and add to our basic knowledge.

If you enjoy doing your own investing, there is enough information here to help you with that -- and, if you have a financial adviser and just want to learn more about what he/she does, this book also is extremely helpful. The book also provides insight on minimizing tax implications, proper insurances and strategies for withdrawing money from a retirement account.

I plan on trying to get in touch with the author to discuss our retirement plans.

This book breaks down the complexity of financial planning. Mr. Curatolo is wonderful at explaining and teaching the basics of creating a plan. This book features many visuals including charts, graphs and examples that help you see the end result. Myself being a beginner, this book really helped to show me where my money should be in order to achieve the best results according to my goals, risk and my stage in life. Mr. Curatolo is very detailed when it comes to the courses we should stay on and when the best time is to stop and re-evaluate. A must read for anyone wanting to know more about how their money will work best for them!

This short, consice book is worth it's price! I highly recommend this book to people of all ages that want to take control of their investment future. Joe really knows how to make you understand the complicated world of investing and I now feel like I have a much better grasp after reading this book. If you take the time to use the information, you might be teaching your broker a thing or two!!

The Investment Train was very informational. A fast read, Joe puts complicated "investment jargon" into laymen's terms, allowing the reader to fully understand the basics of investing and retirement. I highly recommend this book to those who plan on building for retirment, or retire soon. This book will help investors ask their financial advisor those pertinent questions important in understanding where their portfolio stands, and how to make the most of their money.

I am a young investor and found this book very informative. It is an easy read and explains complex situations in a way that's easy to understand. I especially like the way the graphs and visual aids help readers understand the concepts introduced in the book. With the help of my financial advisor, I now feel I can make better informed decisions on my investments. I really enjoyed reading 'The Investment Train'. Its a fast read, very informational and extremely helpful in explaining the 'need to know' facts for personal investing. It gives a great deal of food for thought and practical advice on what to do with your money.

This is an easy read. What's more, I could understand perfectly what the writer is talking about. Joe has done a wonderful job of making it easy for me to get a handle on my finances. I can safely say that my train is "on the right track." Thanks Joe!

The Investment Train is certainly worth the money. Mr. Curatolo's examples are easy to understand for our everyday living experiences. I find the "Quick Review" he has at the end of each chapter and the definitions at the end of the book to be very helpful. I definitely want my two children to read this book because I feel it gives an overview of every stage of our investing lives.

As a reader edging closer to retirement I found that the author broke down the basics of investing and retirement in simple, logical terms that even I could understand. The book really helped me understand how my assets should allocated at this point in my life and I would recommend it to anyone who needs direction when it comes to investing. I started investing a little late in my life but thanks to this book, I am more confident that I can reach my goals and retire comfortably.
