From Library Journal
It's not only the greedy and the naive who are easy marks. The case histories that begin each chapter of this book show that it may be hard to spot swindles in stocks, land, financial planning, and other money scams. The book offers "before-you-invest" tips and warnings for each type of investment. It expands on the usually brief warnings in personal finance guides and on the investment advice in John Suthers and Gary Shupp's Fraud and Deceit ( LJ 1/1/82). Appendixes (not seen) list concerned agencies and associations and a glossary. Useful for public libraries. Justine Roberts, Univ. of California at San Francisco Lib.
