Great look, larger case size, but chrono hand should have been swapped for subdial
on July 22, 2014
This is a good-looking watch by Invicta. I have at least seven Invicta watches, and they have all been great watches for very reasonable prices. Pay no mind to the "retail price," as you'll learn in countless reviews that those prices are absurd. That said, this is a handsome watch with a good size diameter for the case. The whole look of the watch is very handsome. My only issue with the watch is that the chrono would ideally have been for the large second hand. In truth, I've never used a tachymeter for measuring speed of objects, but the tachymeter is made useless in this case because the constantly going second hand is the large second hand instead of the smaller inset hand on one of the smaller dials. What's that mean? To almost all, nothing. But, to the guy who wants the tachymeter to be of any use at any point, the large second hand should have tied to the chrono button. I was surprised Invicta botched that in the movement design. All in all, however, a great looking watch, with great face and dial size.
