It's a bit big for my taste so I won't be wearing it much.

The colors are perfect - stainless steel casing and strap, black bezel, navy blue face with a white band - all look great in combination.

This watch is very solidly made and looks very nice in a casual setting as well as a more formal setting.

This is my first new watch in almost 13 years. I've been wearing the same Movado watch that my wife got me when we got engaged. I thought it was time to find a watch that maybe fit better in everyday situtations since my Movado is more of a dress watch (yes, it took me 13 years...). I had never heard of Invicta before but reviews seem to be pretty good for them. I was impressed with the rather over the top packaging when i received it. The box that the watch comes in is heavy and a leather like material. Very nice but maybe a bit much considering stuff like that just adds to the price. This specific watch with the blue face is very nice and seems to go with most the normal clothing I wear when not working (jeans, t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc...). I don't feel overdressed anymore with it.

The watch came with the correct time already set when I opened it and I'm happy to report that it does its primary job very well....it keeps good time. I haven't noticed any fast or slow times in the few months that I've had it. My only complaint about this watch is that is is very big and heavy. You do feel it when its on your wrist. And, for me, its always there...meanining...I always feel the weight of it.

Overall, very nice watch and very sold. I won't feel bad banging this around.

i must say i was pleasantly surprised at the heft, look and quality of this watch when it arrived.. i like a beefy watch and this was almost too heavy...solid steel of these dimensions weighs in hefty. great blue face, not the purplish color invicta has used in too many watches. comaprible to 400.00 watches.... you wont be unhappy

When you acquire an Invicta watch it is literally like being presented with the most absurd and lavish cupcake. Just as a person might remark that he is unsure as to how he is ever supposed to eat this gargantuan cupcake, I felt the same way about wearing the Invicta 1465.

First off the product had the most incredible presentation. The box it was held in was the size of the Nintendo Gamecube. When opened the watch that was on display looked quite ravishing. The band shone and the glass was perfect. The face has a very lovely blue color. The watch was easy to remove from the box, but the ease did not compromise its security in the nest. Not to rant, but I really can not say enough about Invicta's packaging. When I opened up my package it felt like I was opening up a treasure chest full of gold dubloons.

The Invicta 1465 watch is no lightweight. I took it to a jeweler to get it adjusted and he told me it was the heaviest watch that he had ever worked with. He then charged me extra for wrist strain but times are tough. The band comes large on purpose in order to accomodate all wrist sizes, or if you would like to wear it around your thigh.

Speaking of thighs the watch itself is roughly the size of an oreo cookie. It features three different chronography dials that I do not know what they are there for and the main time hand. The blue band around the time piece itself has numbers on it and it rotates if you have the need to twist things.

Overall this is a very enjoyable watch. Five stars!

This is a large, heavy, watch with a great aesthetic. This watch is very solidly made and looks very nice in a casual setting as well as a more formal setting. The deep black ring, followed by a silver ring, and the the blue face doesn't just pop, it explodes. It is very pleasing to look at. The raised rings around the chronograph dials are striking as well, adding to the depth and interest on the face. All of this against the stainless case and band make for a remarkable looking watch!

All in all, another great Invicta offering.

This is the fifth Reserve/Ocean Reef I have purchased and, I think, the best of the lot. The case size was intimidating at first, but the contouring makes all the difference. This is a big watch, but remarkably comfortable to wear, and the look is incomparable. The blue is deep and refined and the black rubber bezel insert adds a sporting touch that makes it capable of handling any look.

The indicators and hands glow brightly in a white/blue color and are easy to read for many hours. That's a sticking point for me. I rely on my watch to give clear indication of time in the small hours regularly, and this works.

Great look, great function. I will collect the rest of the series as quickly as possible. Price paid: $135.80. Anything under $175 is worthwhile, IMO...

I've been through a lot of watches because I'm really hard on them, and in recent years I've avoided buying or wearing them for that reason. I do appreciate what a nice-looking watch can add to my appearance, though, which is why I ordered the Invicta 1465. I saw it in a shop and was impressed with its sharp looks and impressive size and figured I'd keep it to wear on occasion.

As stated, it's very large, which appeals to my sense of style, and in addition to its size, it's also a good bit heavier than an average wristwatch. I notice that other reviewers have noted its heft as a potential detriment, but the extra weight appeals to me. Prospective buyers just need to know that it's not light.

The main appeal of the 1465 to me is its visual design and color scheme, which is handsome and compatible with a broad scope of clothing colors. The multi-dial design creates a sophisticated, high-tech sort of look that I appreciate, and I've gotten many compliments on it.

I haven't used the chronograph functions extensively, but my limited experimentation with them yielded accurate results. The finish is fairly scratch-resistant, doesn't smudge easily, and polishes easily. I describe the finish as 'fairly scratch-resistant' only because it has picked up a few very small scratches, but I want to make clear again that I am VERY hard on watches. Given how much of a beating a watch takes when its on my wrist, I'm actually pleased at how 'new' the 1465 still looks after a month, and I think someone who only wears it as a dress watch will be hard pressed to bang it up. I haven't swam with it, so I can't comment on its water-resistance in any depth of water, but I've showered with it on and it keeps on ticking.

I only have two relatively minor gripes.
