If you like the BIG FACE style watch, then this baby here will make your day. It is a true 48.4 mm in diameter (excluding crown)and will get noticed my others. The bezel turns easily and the face with the matching accents on the band makes this a very attractive watch. The band is somewhat challenging to adjust unless you have the proper tools and know a little about band adjustments. I had to pin my down with a clamp while I used two micro screwdrivers to loosen the screws. I bought 4 in various finishes (blue, black/silver, gold, rose gold) and compared each of them to my other watches of similar size and finishes, and the Invicta watches stood head above my other watches in my collection. I'm going to by it in black/black and silver/black to complete my collection in this watch.

Which is what attracted me to this, my second Invicta Seaspider. It looks beautiful. Before anything more, a correction to Amazon's description: The bezel is not stationary, but unidirectional. Some owners might not have tried turning it, which isn't so easy, but it does indeed turn, as it should, even if this watch is a lower-end Invicta. It has only a Japan Quartz movement. Swiss is better, and Swiss automatic even better if one can afford it.

I love the chronograph on this one. Course it helped that for once Invicta provided a coherent insert on how to set it up correctly! Good for them! Because most of the time Invicta just sends the same old manual for every watch they make, so it seems. I didn't get a manual with this one and think I should have gotten that too, even if the sheet is better than the entire manual with respect to finally explaining how to "zero" stems on chrono dials. Plus, doing that is less complicated than on other watches, including a lot of Invictas. Dials are 30 mins., 60 secs., and 1/10th secs. broken down on two sides each running from 00 to 00. At least that's how I understand it. All my other watches run from 0 to 10 on the 1/10th secs. dial. So this is different, and I like it. Otherwise, stopwatch functions are as usual: standard, accumulated elapsed, and split.

The watch is overall easy to read, but for the date window, which on almost every watch is not easy to read. On this watch, it's actually a little better than on others I have. My only complaint, and it's minor, regarding Invicta's Seaspider line is that the crown does not pull out easily and doesn't click on the first (date) setting. I'm forever stopping the watch because I bypass the first stop and go right to the second stop, which is the time-setting stop. The crown is not the best.

The strap is especially gorgeous, as they are on most Invictas, and the one for this watch isn't too difficult to adjust if one has the right tools. Pins have caps that screw in, and so with two tiny flatheads--one to hold one end and the other to unscrew on the other end--it's not too terribly difficult to remove links. Took me about an hour to remove five links, a lot longer than it would a jeweler, but I don't have such good tools or hands so steady. What I did do was save some more money by doing it myself. Look out for those little caps, which if dropped on a carpet will never be found.

This is the second Invicta watch that I have purchased from Amazon recently. My first watch was a "skeleton" watch of very similar style and it is a hand-wind watch. This watch offers the standard "battery" which is a plus or minus depending on your perspective. These watches definitely have a "Bling" factor to them and you will get many complements. Be aware that these watches are large in size on your wrist, being almost 50 mm. My other watches, previously preferred Stuhrling watches, but they are much smaller and seem to be rather common compared to Invicta watches. If you are a larger man, as I'm 6' 1", you can pull off the larger watches and it doesn't look awkward at all. Because these watches stand out it's almost embarrassing at times because you really get noticed. I still wear it every day and have no problem with it. The band is exceptionally great during the summer, because unlike standard leather straps, these "breath," because the spacers are nicely separated and allows a great circulation of air. You are getting a great quality watch without breaking the bank and spending hundreds more. Start your collection today with "Invicta," and you won't be disappointed. It's hard to return to my "smaller and old style watches," now!

Gift for my husband. He loves it. It's really good quality. The strap is easily adjusted. Flashy but not over the top. We are both very happy with it.

The watch is very nice - I bought it for my husband, i did not give it five stars because just like this picture shows the watch is gold & black which is what I ordered but when he opened it up yes it's black but the gold is that rose color gold not plain gold which is what i wanted - my husband still liked it - I would have returned it otherwise. I do see it comes in that color as well but that is not what i ordered.

The transaction was neat and clean. The watch arrived as promised and has become one of my favorites. The gold trim makes this watch look more expensive than it is. Thank you Amazon for the easy purchase and I'm sure there will be many more.

This is Classic Invicta like a NAPA Cab ... big and bold. It's one of my favorite Invicta's and I
love the styling, from the gold band accents to the bezel. Not for the faint of heart and you have
to pump before you pimp with this beast.

I was able to adjust easily to my 7.5" wrist using a Paper Clip to remove some links and make finer
adjustments at the Clasp.
