This Invicta is a great watch if you are looking for a giant size timepiece with a touch of elegance. It is well designed and the fit and finish is good. The Citizen automatic movement is a workhorse and very reliable. When you open the box, this watch will impress you and everytime you wear it, it will be noticed. It is not for the timid. I have had this watch for 2 1/2 years. I have worn it very often. It still looks great. It keeps excellent time and is very dressy. A friend at my church saw it and was impressed. I took it off my wrist and let him examine it. He was nothing but impressed with it. Here's the kicker: this man was in the jewelry business for 40 years. His store is the licensed Rolex dealer in our city. When I told him what I had paid for it, he told me I got a great deal on a quality watch. He said it is obviously very well made. Keep that in mind if you want to order this watch. I think you will be very pleased.

I recently purchased this Invicta Hockey Puck size of a Watch....All Good from my view...makes an excellent dress or occasional wear...The night time illumination is weak at best.. But Price/Value hard to beat...Heavy piece some what-but hey it's the style these days. It has eyes.. good looking and feels like your wearing a rolex at a fraction of the cost with excellent workmanship Kick in the 5 yr.Invicta Warranty....Da Jiggy Bomb-Bomb... Da-Melski-Mon.

Do not let the price fool you, this is a beautiful watch. It has
great balance, the two tone Rolex band is heavy, as for the watch
itself very stunning, good large size with a silver dial is a good
combination. I highly recommend this watch to your collection.

The watch itself is fine. Nice looking and runs great. Unfortunately, the band is a piece of junk. It broke on me in less than a month. I sent it back to Invicta and they fixed it, but it took weeks to get back and I had to pay the shipping costs. About a year later the band came apart again. I fixed it that time, but it repeatedly came apart. The band also tarnished quite easily. I finally just took the band off and replaced it with a wide rubber one. I know this wasn't a super expensive watch, but I expected better quality materials from Invicta. Save your money and buy a nice Seiko.

This watch is elegant-looking and I find that I can wear it with pretty much anything, formal or casual. It really pops with a blue dress shirt, but I wear with T-shirt and jeans as well. The gilded bezel is the star of the show; I've not seen this on a watch in this price range very often. The watch looks much more expensive than what I paid for it. It IS big, but I find it very comfortable to wear (after removal of some links) and got used to the weight and size quickly.

The Miyota movement is a bit flakey; the sweep second hand stutters a bit as it traverses the minute hand. Not sure if this is common with this movement, or if the watch hands were not properly affixed. The watch is about 20 seconds fast each day, which I think is acceptable for this movement. I reset it once a week, not a big deal. The watch is reliable, and it stops after a bit more than 24 hours off of my wrist. A watch-winder helps, and Amazon sells several good ones for a reasonable price.

There is a screw-down crown and, supposedly, 200M water resistance. I've yet to take the watch swimming, but immersion in dishwater (yeah, I do the dishes) hasn't fogged the crystal so far.

Nitpicking: The bracelet end links are not solid (as on expensive watches). Also the date window is very small and a cyclops would have been helpful for me. If not for these issues, the watch would be perfect.

Finally, something to be wary of is Invicta's Warranty/Service, which is notoriously bad. I've not sent this particular watch back (I own other Invictas), but would advise anyone purchasing this watch here to wear it HEAVILY for the first 30 days and return it to the seller if it doesn't work right; DO NOT count on sending to Invicta for service and receiving a repaired watch back in good shape. If the watch stops after the first month, be prepared to walk away and chalk it up to experience. Volumes could be written about this.

In summary, a great watch that looks like more than I paid for it, and a great "introductory" automatic that should provide years of service.

I purchased this watch at least 6 or 7 years ago and it is still one of my favorites. Over the years I have purchased many,many, watches and yet this one has not lost any ground. It seems as if style has just caught up with the Ocean Ghost. This is a classic just read the reviews and see how long this watch has been around with basically no changes. This is a GREAT PIECE

IT IS A VERY HEAVY WATCH SO IT TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO AS FAR AS FITTING RIGHT ON THE WRIST. IT IS A VERY NICE LOOKING WATCH.

So pleased with this purchase! Great quality watch for a great price. Couldn't be more pleased! It's a must for any watch lover.
