The color of the watch band: brown
Hello all, I hope that this review proves to be useful. I purchased my Invicta 3329 (the same lefty watch with brown band but with gold case) a little over 4 months ago. I am usually a very scrupulous buyer, researching items high and low before making the decision to purchase. However, I was still new to watches and very much in love with the 3329. I first saw it at an outlet mall jewelry store then pursued it online. I did not make my final purchase from amazon because they did not have the 3329 at the time. I payed roughly $250 for the watch with an "msrp" of $525. I put quotes around msrp because Invicta is notorious for gouging the msrp price. They would more accurately represent their product by saying "compared to $525." This is not to say the watch is of poor construction. In fact I have been very pleased. It is hefty, comfortable, and I have had no mechanical errors in the short time of my ownership. I do not regret the $250 spent, what I do regret is spending the $250 under false pretenses of immense savings. I would like to quickly mention Invicta's history. They were a Swiss watch company in the early 1900's but went out of business in the late '70s early '80s at the hand of cheap Japanese digital watches. Recently, however, a Texas company purchased the namesake "Invicta" and has begun making the watches you see today. Again, I like my watch, and am pleased with the overall construction. If anything, I am upset that I did not perform my investigative research till after I purchased the watch. For some of you, this review may have helped, others of you may have already known what I failed to realize till late. If the name (and the way other's perceive it) means more to you than the watch itself, you may want to look elswhere (Tissot, Bulova, Citizen, Seiko, etc.) Otherwise, there is a good watch to be had here.

The color of the watch band: brown Verified Purchase
I have enjoyed wearing this watch, especially since I wear my wristwatches on my right. There are very few left handed watches available at any price point.

All my watches are extremely well taken care of. I seldom wear one two days in a row and they are stored in either a watch winder or watch case, depending on the movement.

I have had this model for over two years and it had been trouble free until a few days ago. Then the small hour hand for the timer fell off. This was under normal wear. I had an extended warranty, so was not concerned. However, when I went to Invicta's site for info on getting the watch repaired, I found a number of concerns. One, you must prepay for shipping the watch back to you. And, they charge $28 for shipping. Plus, you are paying to ship the watch back to them. Also, I received a notice that the repair estimate was close to $40 if it is not covered by warranty. There are no guidelines as to way it would not be covered.

So, at a minimum, you are paying at least $40 for shipping both ways. Possibly another $40 in repair work. In addition, they say it will take 3 months to complete the work. Given how much I paid for the watch, this makes no sense at all. Why wait three months and end up paying close to the purchase price to get a repaired item back?

Unfortunately, this does not seem like a viable option and I can't recommend this company.
(NOTE: this entire series is essentially the same watch.)

The color of the watch band: brown Verified Purchase
First of all, this watch is pretty true to the picture. What you see is what you get with one exception. The hands in the center subdials appear to be white, but they are plain silver. Had they been covered in luminous white this watch would score extra points. As they are, they are less visible even in the daylight. This is forgivable considering this watches strong points. How many chrono watches have you ever seen with three completely separate subdials and a complete set of large arabic numerals? This is a big wow factor for this watch in my opinion. The description doesn't mention it, but yes, the numbers are luminous as are the mentioned hour hands. The little square markers right next to the numbers are luminous also. Even the large chrono seconds hand has a circular lumed indication. The tachymeter markings give the watch an aviator flare, and the overall appearance has technological appeal without being too busy. The thin bezel gives this watch a full face and wears more like a 49mm without the extra bulk. The blue sun ray dial color is rich, but is much more subtle, and not as metalic as many other watches. This is a great bluejeans watch. The leather band is good quality, and has easy out pins that makes changing bands a snap- only a fingernail is needed. I am right handed, and since this is a lefty, I'm not bothered by the large crown because it faces down being at the 9 o'clock position. By the way if you're right handed and you wear a lefty watch it will not be upside down as some may think. It reads exactly the same way on your same hand, only the crown and pushers are opposite. If you have had a problem with large crowns digging into your wrist, this will actually solve that problem. All Invicta watches have quality movements, and the Invicta name is engraved into the side of the case opposite the crown. Taking into consideration Amazon's price, and even a free upgrade to a 5 year warranty, this is a lot of watch for the money.
