Nice looking and functioning watch...another success story from Invicta. Burgundy face is beautiful-and it keeps great time! Large dial and pro diver styling brought immediate compliments. How do you beat this for $79.00?

Not Durable,
This review is from: Invicta Men's 6022 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Stainless Steel Watch (Watch)
Gonna make this short. I got this for a gift and it was a great looking watch. I know it isn't a high quality watch and didn't expect much from it other than staying together. I wore it only a few times when I noticed that the bezel insert had fallen off. I did a bunch of searches online and can't find the part anywhere. I even took it to a watch place and they said I would have to go through Invicta. So during my searches people were saying that Invicta will only sell the entire bezel which costs $70!! No way would I pay that much for a part for such a cheap watch. So my watch is still just sitting broken on my dresser...such a shame.

Great Watch (No issues after a year),

I own this watch with the yellow/gold face I believe it is the 6069. Looks like it should have cost quadruple what they're charging for them. I've had this watch snorkeling in Key West, in the pool, the bay.. etc.. No issues to report.. Mine came with a rubber band which I quickly swaped out for something more along the lines of what is shown with the 6022 (only not as nice). I've had my watch for a year with only one issue to report. That is that due to it being wound automatically or kinetically it does not hold a charge longer than a day. If you stop wearing it for longer than that you'll have to reset the time and date... (not to big of a deal to me) The Japan movement is also a cool feature as the 2nd hand moves fluid (doesn't tick like a cheaper watch but It's not as fluid as a TAG or Rolex either) You're getting a lot of bang for your buck though.. Get the watch.. you won't be disappointed, they make this watch in a yellow, black, and orange face too. Not sure what the issue is with the other guys but I've had no water issues with mine after all.. It is the diver series..

Not water resistant,

This product is supposedly rated to be water resistant to 200M. I wore it at a friends house and after less than 2hrs in less than 8 feet of water, it filled up with said water. It looks nice and I like the style, but I can't believe their claim of 660 ft. when less than 8 ft of non-salt water messed it up. Time to look at other brands.

First of all, may I say that Amazon.com is great and did everything right. Invicta, however... Well, not so much.
Notice that the name says "Pro Diver" and it is described as water resistant to 200 meters. After two times in a pool (maybe 2 meters, if that), the crystal is fogging on the inside. I am one hundred percent sure that the crown was fully closed. And now, inexplicably, the movement is speeding up. It has gained 5 minutes or more in one hour. That said, the only reason this is getting two stars and not one is that the face really is pretty. If you kept it out of the water (again, it's a PRO DIVER, you shouldn't have to), it might be a decent watch. I will be returning my 6022 promptly if I still can. Seriously consider other options before buying this watch. |
