MY watch stopped working after a month or so from buying it... it stopped and i thought it was the battery.. however, i went to a watch repairman and tried to change the battery.. he did not have the battery and told me that i should contact invicta if i had a warranty.

Today, i called them, and well, they said that some things are not covered by the warranty, second, that i have to pay my own shipping to florida, third, that i have to attach a 28 dollars check for them to ship back my watch. MOREOVER, they said that if there is something not covered in the warranty, i should also pay the rest (assuming the watch costs 395 dollars, battery would cost you like 50 bucks for them to replace)...
right, you buy a 40 bucks watch and the business is to sell warranties because they know it will fail... thanks invicta for such a bad product...
INVICTA, NEVER AGAIN

Picked the watch up for a whole $35 bucks; well worth the money. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the watch face is actually a really really dark green that comes across as black except in direct sunlight.

I got this watch for $38 and I really like it because it has a nice size. When I bought it the picture was for a green watch, but when a received it the watch was really dark, but I still like the new color.

My attention was first drawn to this series of watch because of the orange(favorite color) one. It is a Great looking watch, and its hard to find a tasteful looking orange watch. Then I saw the rest of the colors and jumped on them as good looking everyday watches that I would like to wear, yet not feel guilty about consuming.

I purchased the orange and black ones for myself and love both of them. The time is very accurate on both, and the date window is a distinguished feature that is fun. I also gave a silver one to one of my friends for helping me out. My best friend liked the silver as well, so I gave one to him for the holidays. All three of us love them for what they are. This is coming from guys that have a handful of $1500+ watches between them including Accutrons, Hamiltons and Signature Series Citizens to name a few.

I love the clasp on this watch! Works very well and effortlessly and doesn't fail. The material quality of the actual band is not very high though, and with a keen eye you can see its folded steel and the only reason this isn't rated with five stars. Weird, but not really a problem, is the greenish hue on the surface of the black one. I don't understand it, but I'm not bothered by it either. I also took the back off just to see whats going on inside, and its pretty plain Jane movement, but I wasn't expecting much.

Bottom line?
Great and seemingly reliable, good looking watch for daily rotation, especially for the money!! A no brainer! Give them as Gifts even... I DID!!

I've had mine for over a year; got it for less than $45, and having read up on the subject I know the historic Swiss company is not involved; a Japanese concern bought the name. Nonetheless, the quartz movement has kept good time, and the rich dark green gets noticed and looks classy. In bright sunlight, it's a nice emerald hue, but indoors it's more a very dark green, almost black, with green irridescence. Fits that "big chunky watch" category on my middle-sized (7.75 inch diameter) wrist.

I really liked my new invicta watch, and the shipping time was great on time!!! nice big watch to have...

very happy with the watch, the quality is exactly as you see it and it doesnt disipoint when it is delivered. i used this as a gift and the person i gave it to liked it very much as well!!!

I thought this was going to be a nice watch until it stopped after about two weeks. I took it to a watch repair guy who specializes in Invicta and he tried to sell me an extended warranty and didn't really offer to fix it so I sent it back to the factory for repair. I sent it back over a month ago and have not heard anything from any source yet. Not even a confirmation that they had received it. Nothing.

I could not give this watch less than one star because it would not let me but I certainly cannot recommend the watch or the factory repair procedure. It would be nice to at least know what the status is and if they even received it for repair. I also don't think it should take a month to fix or replace.

So here's the deal. It's a nice watch, but I give it one star because if you're getting it specifically because the dial is green, look elsewhere. I don't believe this is through any fault of amazon, but rather Invicta itself that posted a misleading product picture/description. The watch I received, which was neatly packed and arrived promptly, was not green like the one photographed above, but rather the dial was black. I ordered the watch as a present for my boyfriend whose favorite color is green. So when I got it and saw the dial was black I thought well we're all human, it was a small packing mistake. I called amazon customer service the same day I had received the watch to inform them I had received the wrong watch (again, exact same as photographed but the dial is BLACK not green), and they speedily took care of the problem. I received the replacement the very next day, however, same problem. Still black. I'm going to suck it up and just give him the black watch, but I won't be buying Invicta again. On the upside, amazon customer service was beyond wonderful, I don't think I have ever had a more pleasant over the phone customer service experience ever. A+ on that. But Invicta needs improvement.
