4.0 out of 5 stars great watch, GREAT VALUE!!
I'm a college student who has always had a fascination with horology and mechanical watches in particular. I also lead a relatively active lifestyle so I need something tought to bang around but look great doing it. This watch fits the bill. I'm rather discriminating when it comes to the quality of timepeices and this thing is SOLID!! Not a heavy watch, I assure you the...

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed
Couldnt disagree more with the other two reviews. I bought this watch and within two days the strap was busted. I banged it VERY Lightly on a desk. Customer service were AWFUL for Invicta, they promised in the end to send a replacement strap, cost me $20 (UNDER WARRANTY!!) because they sent it with security, when they originally sent the watch itself with NONE! Then...

I also lead a relatively active lifestyle so I need something tought to bang around but look great doing it. This watch fits the bill. I'm rather discriminating when it comes to the quality of timepeices and this thing is SOLID!! Not a heavy watch, I assure you the titanium is real and the weight is not a factor. I kayak and snorkel, so the 200m. water resistance is perfect, the whole watch feels solid. The movement is japanese, not swiss as I hoped, but runs smoothly and looks great, I love the sweeping second hand. Compared to my Breitling, this thing feels almost as nice! Invicta is awesome, I will purchese again!

Then another $10 to get the straps changed. Within 6 months the whole thing was scratched to hell, and i want particularly careful with it in that regard, but still, i wasnt overly crazy with it either. In april i took it to a small rock pool and swam and there has been condesation in it since then, causing me the hands to stick every now and then and me lose minutes, miss meetings and have a VERY bad attitude!! Then, finally, in trying to adjust the time yesterday, the little nob broke off and now it has water in it and i cant change the date or time. its ruined.

Now, im not saying i have been cautious. I havent, at all, but this is a DIVERS watch. it should be able (on TOP of being waterproof) to take some action. and, in every area, it hasnt. i wasted $180 on this. Im gunna look at Seiko in future.

P.O.S.

2.0 out of 5 stars Just a few niggles, August 19, 2006
I would suppose for the money, it is an alright watch. My thoughts before buying it was that I wanted a lightweight beater watch. I own two Rolexs and maybe that distorts the thinking process. Invicta allows great reductions in prices, this one would retail for 325? Good luck. The pluses are as follows, nicely made case, don't mind the logo on the side. The crown is nice, date and winding, no problems. The watch keeps good time. The bad, the bezel design sucks! They may have felt some heat from Rolex and the copy of the coined edge. So they changed it to a smooth polished scalloped edge, good luck turning it unless your hands are dry and there is no grit under the bezel. It is tight still, has an uneven feel about it, and it not useful as a tool. The face is a grid of sorts. The thought was nice, but in it's execution, it does not isolate the hands and doesn't seem useful. A plain matt or gloss straight black background would have been nicer. Now, many complains about the date magnifier, they are right, pretty much useless. I don't understand why sourcing a higher index would be a problem. As for the crystal, mineral glass is ok, but a 25 dollar sapphire would have been a nicer touch.
In the end, I use the watch, but it probably is a 100 dollar watch as the lowest price.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Invicta Men's 9425 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Stainless Steel and Titanium Watch (Watch)
I have only had this watch a couple of weeks, but it really has the look and feel of a more expensive watch. It seems to be keeping perfect time. I was able to remove three links myself with a handy tool I bought online. Otherwise, you will probably pay a jeweler $10 or so to have this done.

This watch is quite a bit heavier than my all-titanium watch that recently quit on me. I needed a replacement pronto for vacation and could not wait for the repair. I got a $20 Amazon price break and the $115 total could not be beat. Sadly, it is not currently available from Amazon and is selling for $149 from other vendors, here.
