4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not perfect
I bought this watch off Amazon because I wanted a nice looking watch and didn't currently have one. I got it when it was still selling for $59.99 Some things people might want to know before they purchase.

At 44x13mm this watch certainly has a good amount of heft to it. It's not a problem for me but if you don't want a large watch then look elsewhere...

I bought this watch off Amazon because I wanted a nice looking watch and didn't currently have one. I got it when it was still selling for $59.99 Some things people might want to know before they purchase.

At 44x13mm this watch certainly has a good amount of heft to it. It's not a problem for me but if you don't want a large watch then look elsewhere.
This watch is very classy looking and I am very satisfied with it's appearance.
It comes with plenty of links for your sizing pleasure.
Yes as some reviewers noted, the instructions are 1 page and are just mostly just illustrations showing you how to use the functions of this watch. This also is not a problem for me because this is not a complex watch and the illustrations show you everything you need to know.

The reason I give this watch 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with the bezel that other reviewers have touched upon. I spent several minutes playing with it and here is the deal: Once you take the little plastic sheet off the face the bezel can rotate counter clockwise in clicks all the way around the face. The problem is that it is mis-alligned. The whole thing is off by half a click. It's not really noticeable unless you are really looking for it and I probably wouldn't have noticed it if the other reviewers hadn't noticed it, but I wanted the triangle on the bezel to be at the 12 o clock position and it is between 2 clicks. And yes the bezel has some play to it as others have noted.

I'm still keeping the watch because it's hardly noticeable and I like the everything else about the watch. Overall I encourage people to look at this as a $60-$70 watch not a $400+ watch and it is a good value.

I just received the Invicta Men's II Collection chronograph stainless steel watch yesterday and was a little disappointed. It would've been a great piece to have but didn't quite live up to my expectations. At first glance, the watch is beautiful. It has a nice weight to it and the bracelet feels exceptionally nice. The thickness of the watch is good but the one that I got, the numbered outside bezel of the watch was misaligned. The bezel is fixed so there's no way that you can adjust this yourself in order to make it line up correctly with the internal face of the watch. I expected a watch with such a high list price to not have quality issues as obvious as this (I didn't pay the list price of course). I read about other Invicta watch reviews in Amazon after I purchased this watch and I was mainly concerned about the watch's ability to accurately keep time. I tried to set up the time correctly and learn the basics of the watch to see if I can do a 24-hours test run on the watch to see if it's up to par with accuracy. It was able to pass the test but unfortunately, I had to figure out a lot of the watch's functionality and adjustments myself since this one only came with a single page, photocopied, all-in-one instruction page (not even a complete manual). I was wondering if I actually got a replica and not the real deal - I even looked it up at the Invicta website and it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere there (maybe an old model). At the end of the day, the fact that the bezel was misaligned, I still didn't feel comfortable giving it as a gift to someone so I decided to return it. I would've been glad to do an even exchange but when I submitted the request to Amazon, they were only able to do a refund. Oh well, I'll try to wait to see if I can get another one for the original price I got it for. Right now, it seems that the price went up $10.00 more than what I originally paid for.

:: -----|| Update ||----- ::
Thanks to the review from C.P. from VA and I was able to get the bezel free. I'm still not too happy with the bezel's craftsmanship (it has some play into it unlike the bezel from the Invicta Pro Diver that I got) but at least, it's functional. I've played with watches in the same (original) price range as this watch and the bezel shouldn't have as much play as it should. Overall, I like the watch enough that I'm willing to keep it but I don't feel that the MSRP reflects the overall quality of the item that I got - the price that I paid for is more realistic from what I gather.

4.0 out of 5 stars The look of the watch belies it price, December 6, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Invicta Men's 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch (Watch)
After watching the presentations of Invicta on TV, i decided to get this watch because of its large size and very practical pricing. The watch is actually larger than i thought it would be, and about the most my wrist can handle. The main reason i got it was that i am far sighted and wanted a nice looking watch where I would not have to put my reading glasses on to tell time. There is good and bad. The main dials i can see without glasses, as well as the day of the week and chronograph minutes. However, I cannot see the day of the month in the little window as it is too small. With my glasses on, of course, I can see everything perfectly.

Now here is the interesting part. The Invicta is a very impressive, albeit large, watch. When i went to the jewelry store to have some links taken out, the jeweler thought I had paid several hundred dollars for it, and my adult son estimated about $500; it holds its own very well in appearance with upscale watches (e.g. Breitling). When i tell people what i actually paid they are blown away, and i still can't believe it, given the quality and appearance.

So the good is: very impressive, dressy and classy, and big, most cost effective, a nice gift.

the bad: big, may be too big for small wrists (not for a child), and if you have to wear reading glasses, you STILL won't be able to see the day of the month without putting them on.

In summary: a very nice, albeit big, dress watch, that comes off as being worth hundreds of dollars. Glamour for the budget conscious.

Ah yes, for those who don't know, if you register online you get a 5 year extended warranty. Also, the instructions downloaded from the web site are much nicer than those that are packed with the watcy.

I had been eyeing this watch for awhile now, but the only thing that kept me from buying it were all the reviews regarding the bezel of the watch, and how it was mis-aligned with the 12 o'clock mark at the top. Small detail some would say, but nonetheless, it probably would have bothered me just enough not to like it. In addition, Amazon was out of stock and was only offering this watch through different vendors, so I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it with a 3rd party involved.

Luckily, I was checking out this watch again and saw that Amazon had some in stock!! (3 to be exact..) So I went ahead and decided to make the purchase..Good thing I did too because they ran out the next day!

The package came, and to my relief, the bezel was ALIGNED!! It does have some play to it as other reviewers have mentioned, but otherwise, I completely LOVE the watch. It is rather heavy, but I like my watches that way. I consider myself to have small wrists, and had to remove 6 links to get it to fit correctly. But the end result was a very fine looking watch added to my small collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars For 70$ you get watch with look and feel of a 500$ stuff, December 23, 2009

This review is from: Invicta Men's 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch (Watch)
I'm using this watch for about a month and i have only positive grades for it. Nice design (at least i like it), it's pretty accurate and i also often use chronograph function. I was really surprised with functionality, it has start/stop/lap time, hands move really smooth and it's easy to determine time with accuracy up to 1/5-th of a second.
Bracelet is comfortable but you will have to adjust it. To make it fit on my wrist i had to remove 5 chains, it's easy though.

By the way hands are visible at night due to phosphorescent pieces.

Update:
Okay, i'm using this watch for almost 2 years now on everyday basis and the only way you could tell it's not new is look for small scratches on the bracelet, that aren't noticeable at all if not searching specifically. The watch itself is like brand new, not a sign of wear on the glass, buttons or blue outer ring with numbers. This watch has never failed me and i'm very pleased with the choice i made.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleased with the watch, December 4, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Invicta Men's 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch (Watch)
I like watches, but I would never wear something that represents a month or more salary on my wrist. I look for watches that will survive the bangs that I always give them since my wrist seems to be right at door knob level, and my watch has a way of giving the knobs a good whack as I walk by. The Invicta watch looks good and has a nice heft and feel to it. Although I have not purchased an Invicta before, the line earns generally positive reviews and the free warranty extension by purchasing through Amazon helped my decision.

Pros
Looks great - have received lots of compliments
Seems to keep very accurate time - set against time.gov
Band is of sufficient size (with removable links) so it can fit almost any wrist
The watch was only $59.99
A free 4-year extension to the warranty
Nice feel on the wrist

Cons
The bezel is not as snug as it could be around the face - it diminishes the quality feel
Removing links to re-size took more time than with other watches I have owned
MSRP for value comparison is unreasonably high, but at a $60 to $70 price on Amazon, it is a good buy
The instruction sheet mentioned by other reviewers seems cheap, but the process is intuitive

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy another Invicta when a good deal appears.

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks nice, but ..., January 10, 2011

This review is from: Invicta Men's 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch (Watch)
This watch looks nice and cool. However, as other reviewers noted, it feels cheap. The bezel is misaligned, and has some play to it (is not very stable). One of the chronograph hands is also misaligned (is not reset at zero). Because of this, and because I am afraid it might fall apart, I am returning it. The Invicta customer service does not seem that friendly either (from other reviewers).

I purchased the Invicta Men's II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch #6621.
The item was extremely affordable at $68.99 + s/h, and a great value for an Invicta Chronograph.
I am partial to blue and this watch blends very well with my neutral colored suits.
Invicta supplies an option to purhase insurance, and the unit arrives in their famous signature storage/dispaly box, perfect for presenting as a gift, and keeping the watch safe and dust free.

Kudos to Amazon: I received it 2 days earlier than estimated, during the height of the Christmas season.

I got this Invicta as a gift and I found it to be a great value: it has a nice size and feels quite solid, it has a fine quartz machine with a nice swipe action second hand, the bracelet is wide and has enough links to allow adjustment for most wrists. Finally, I could not find any alignment problems on the bezel which by the way rotates perfectly. For the price you are getting quality and construction typical of much more expensive watches. I am happy with it and recomend it highly.

First off I really enjoyed this watch. The look was great, the stainless steel seem pretty strong, and the face takes some abuse and does not scratch.

I have only owned it for 3 months and it will not keep accurate time. I have replaced the battery 3 times hoping that this was the issue but alas....it gets off by about 15 minutes each night.

Unfortunately I have to give this watch a terrible review because...why buy a watch that doesn't keep accurate time?
