Needed a watch at the time and got this one on the "Today's Deal". Actually liked the watch look, and what the functions should be, though a little heavy if that's a factor for you. It's the function that I had the problem with. In order of the problems as I found them, First, I needed a watchband adjustment fit, and it took me some time. This watchband is somewhat more difficult to remove links myself, without solid tools (tried the diaper pin method as advised, to no avail) and had to pay for the adjustment. No real problem here on the band, As I assume the wristband fit problem was on me. The more serious problems concerns function. When I tried to adjust the day and date, I had a problem with the crown. I couldn't get the #1 position (for the day/date adjustment) as there wasn't a click like the position #2 (time adjustment). finding this #1 position was hit or miss, and when I did get it, it slid out of position, like there wasn't any kind of lock in place. The most serious problem was the time. Once I got everything going, I found the time was consistently off 5-10 minutes several times a day after fixing, then I noticed the second hand was stalling at the 6 position just about everytime it came around, causing the watch to be slow. Definitely got a lemon, maybe that's why it was on the deal. I am not slamming Invicta, giving them the benefit of a doubt, this could of been a dud, but I will have second thoughts on choosing an Invicta again because of this problem.

Liked the look of the watch so I jumped in and bought one. My husband has a SEIKO KINETIC that is 14 years old and a bit worn so this looked like a nice replacement. When it arrived, I found it to be a really nice looking watch. But, just like a previous opinion that I read here, I could not get the watch to set the day/date. When I pulled to stem out to "position #1" it was very loose and not doing anything. My husband spent quite a bit of time trying to gently pull the stem a fraction of an inch at a time to see if he could get it to function. He could get it to set the date but not the day. So we sent it back. Our feeling is that just because something has a big price tag, it does not mean that it is a quality product. Save your money.

Received it promptly with a free 1 day shipping special and it was very well packaged. It's a good looking watch, but as others have said, it's huge and the band is extremely large. If you are a slender person this will dwarf your wrist. Obviously made for a big person.

Again, I struggled for over 1/2 an hour trying to synch the day and date as per the manual instructions without success. Position 2 which is used to set that info just would not come into play no matter how much I jiggled with the stem. I have adjusted many similar watches in the past but could not get this one to function properly.

End result? I am returning the item

I love this watch. It runs a little large so i had to buy the link remover tool. This was very easy to do and only takes a minute or so.

It was all that they said and it looks and operates good. I am happy with the watch and the price was more than reasonable.

8/19-Just received this watch yesterday-beautiful for the price of less than $60. I had no trouble adjusting day/date as some reviewers have. Only complaints are that as time approaches midnight day/date disappear and band is too big, but that's better than being too small.
8/19-How things change in 24 hours. Tried to adjust time and crown fell off. Guess you get what you pay for. I will be returning.

My wife just bought me a $300 watch from Elgin and says this one is almost as nice.
Btw this watch is for work and other one is for off time. Plus, it came with a free wrist band that says it sells for $50 also.
As of now i am very happy with the watch.

Hey, I received this watch from Amazon in India in just 4 days. Awesome gold plated watch. I already own an Invicta watch. the quality of the watch is good. I like watches with big dial and this is appropriate for my office. I wanted a formal watch and here it is. Go get it, it is worth every penny.

I bought sometime before, but never received a service as efficient as today.
I'm so happy with everithing, and very satisfied with the service provided.

These watches are very good for their price, you can easily pay $50.00 for junk from, for instances, a service station (sells petrol) six months and they are dead. I have brought a few invictas, a very good watch for the price, with absolutely NO problems. What do you people want, stop you bitching.
