I ordered this watch the week Amazon was having it's Invicta watch of the week sale. Great price at $99. The watch is very nice looking. I like the heavy weight of the watch and thickness (substantialness) to it.

I only give it four stars though because the first watch that I received had the second hand of the chronograph stop at the 58 second mark instead of at the 0 second mark. Amazon did an exhange (thank you) and I was up and running.

Second reason I give this four stars if because of being an Invicta. Nothing against them until I received my first defective watch, mentioned above, and then a SECOND defective watch (differet model) with the same problem!!! The second one was even more disappointing though because it was a watch with an MSRP of $3,000!!! Though I got it on a special from Amazon at $500, I would still expect a watch of this cost to come to me without defects! The second hand on this chronograph stopped at the 2 second mark instead of the 0 second mark. That one went back for a refund!

All in all, I really like the design and style of the Invicta brand, but their quality control seems to be horrible. Combine that with the horror stories you read online about Invicta customer service, and it's tough to justify going with this brand.

I really like this watch. I just hope it lasts!

I saw this watch in a store where it was marked down to $150 (retail is $495). Shortly thereafter, Amazon had it on sale for $83! So, for the price of a Fossil, which had been my daily watch, I now have this Invicta. On to the watch...

From trying it out in the store, I knew I'd have to remove some links, so I also bought a link removal tool for about $10 (good investment). I had to take out 4 links to get it to fit right, but it now fits perfectly. Obviously, how it fits depends on your wrist circumference, but I have never had a bracelet style watch fit this good before.

As one reviewer has said, the watch is thick, but it also makes it impressive. The look is classic without being overdone. The seconds are actually ticked off on the little dial at the 6 o'clock position. The large second hand is a stopwatch that you activate and stop with the upper-right button. The lower-right button resets the hand to the 12 o'clock position. leave it on long enough, and the other two mini-dials track minutes and hours elapsed. A nice function you wouldn't really expect on an analog watch. The date is displayed at the 3 o'clock position.

The only drawback is that since the face and hands are both white, it's sometimes hard to pick them up right away. But for this price, that's a nit-pick in my opinion.

Unlike some others, I haven't had any quality issues for the first two weeks. For what I paid, you absolutely cannot go wrong.

The watch is heavy - looks durable and functional - for the price, I think it's unbeatable.

I bought this watch a week ago so perhaps my comments are a bit preliminary. The watch is good, but not great. On the positive side, looks lovely, and can be either a functional, practical watch, or a dress watch. The watch has the features that I want, and no extras. Finally, the basic settings are very easy to use. On the negative side, this is a very THICK watch. I do not mind a thick watch, but at 13 millimetres this is very thick. A second negative point is that I cannot seem to make the band the correct length. It is either too tight, or, too loose. Overall, good but not as nice as my Seiko or Junkers.

First, let me say that I actually like this watch. Especially for $99 it's an excellent bargain, having in mind the sapphire window, massive stainless steel body and the Japanese movement. The design is also worth the attention.

But what happened in my case, is that the upper push button just disappeared during a cocktail party - not during an extreme dive into a shark filled sea. Let's be honest - can you believe you can safely go 100 m underwater with a watch like this?!

The second problem is the warranty. It's now over a month since I bought it so I cannot return it to Amazon for a full refund, so I need to send it to Invicta in Florida (at my expense) together with a $25 money order for them to send it back to me.

Let's be honest - this is not an excellent service. I will have to spend at least $50 just for shipping for a watch that I paid $99 for. And who says this will be the only problem during the warranty period? They don't have any normal local service centers where you can take the watch for free. To me this is unacceptable and if I knew this condition in advance, I wouldn't buy the watch even at that price.

I have had this watch for over a year now and I could not possibly be any more pleased. It is a well-made, quality piece. I wear it on a daily basis and despite the relatively rough treatment I expose it to, it is still in excellent condition. This was my first foray into the Invicta product line and I am now a loyal customer. There is no comparison at this price range, Invicta is in a class of its own.

My first Invicta watch and I couldn't be happier! The watch looks even better in person than in pictures, has good weight, and everything from the crown to the band feels very solid. Love the sapphire crystal at this price point. It's too bad this watch has been discontinued because I couldn't find anything similar in Invicta's current collection and feel like the design of it is timeless.

FYI - I bought this watch via TJ Max when they had just received it and were putting it on display, and have not had to deal with Amazon return policies as some of the other negative reviewers have.

Anyways, I have received a lot of compliments on this watch. It is larger, heavier, and thicker than most which gives it a great masculine look, but it's balanced by the red stainless steel dials which give a slightly feminine touch to an all white face. True, the hour and minute hands are silver, which may not contrast as well with the white background as a different color would, but it has an already enough busy enough face, and in my opinion looks great the way it is.

Invicta was originally a swiss company, but since 1991 it's headquarters have been in the U.S. This timepiece has a Japanese produced analog quartz movement, with a sapphire face. While this watch is no Tag Heuer, you are not going to find very many heavy watches of this quality and mature look for the price. Great for being a casual watch.

Again, having owned several watches (one being a Tag heuer, of course) this was the watch that I have received the most compliments for. Five stars for being such a solid buy.

Saphire crystal glas....stainless steel armband....i like it very much

This is an extremely nice watch to look at. The craftsmanship and finish are excellent. I like a a heavy watch and this is a large and heavy watch. The only complaint I have is that I can't tell what time it is. The face is so busy and the hands are the same color so they kind of get lost in each other. I have to hold the watch at different angles just to find the hands to tell the time.
