The image makes this watch look deceptively average; The bracelet is 'oversized' in scale with the watch, and the large crown protector make it hard to judge the size in a image with nothing else in it for comparison. This is not your typical size diver watch.. for those who like large watches, look no further!

The outer diameter of the bezel is just over 2" - now the biggest in my collection! In spite of the mass it is surprisingly comfortable; easily wearable all day, something I can't say about my Invicta Reserve Specialty which is actually smaller. The rubber links in the bracelet do not feel or look cheap whatsoever, with the links being of the screwed-in variety to boot.

I originally was looking at the all black 4902, but ultimately wound up choosing this 'gunmetal/black' version and am glad I did. The case and steel center links are a very dark gray, while the rubber links, bezel, and a few other details are black. The gunmetal is different enough from the black to be of contrast, but is not so light that it looks out of place. The two materials and colors complement each other nicely.

All in all this version of the Corduba is a worthwhile purchase and a new personal favorite.

This watch is LARGE - at around 52mm it's one of the biggest I have in my collection. The gunmetal/black color worked together better than I had expected. The strap is very comfortable. As one might imagine with a watch this large it does have some weight to it (if it was very light, it would feel cheap). Every dark watch I own including this one reminds me of a military watch. It looks great with my weekend attire and turns heads everywhere I go. For the price, this is a great deal! I suggest that if you are on the fence, just buy the watch. I think you will be VERY pleased. And if it is too bold for you, you can return it. You won't be disappointed!!

When I received this watch, my first reaction was a word that I don't allow my kids to say. My expectation was that I going to have strong but stylish watch. A watch that makes people take more than one look at what you are wearing. Immediately my co-workers were astonished by the weight and styling, and have since changed thier minds about how many watches one person can usefully own. When I went to see my barber, before I even took my jacket off, he was already commenting on the watch. Expectation met.
Function:
This watch works great. The chronograph hand threw me off for a minute because I was use to that hand being the seconds hand, but once I figured it out, I was fine. All the pushers work fine, and all the sub-dials move the way they should.
Looks:
Despite looking like you could hang this watch as wall clock, it fits nicely on my average sized wrist. I had some difficulty adjusting the bracelet because of the tiny screws that hold the links together, but I was able to do it when my jeweler couldn't. The combination steel/rubber bracelet gives an air of durability and style. And makes me feel that I can wear this watch while either running in park, or running a meeting at the office.
Strength:
While I don't plan to conduct any of my own testing on this watch, I have confidence that it is as durable as it looks.

Botton Line is I would buy this watch again and again and again, and would encourage anyone else who thought of doing the same.

This watch looks like a solid, handsome watch. But looks can be deceiving. I actually ordered 2 watches, and both turned out to be defective.

The first watch I ordered had the chronograph subdial missing the minute hand. The hand was loose inside the case. I figured it might have been damaged during shipping or something, and decided to give Invicta another chance so I ordered another one. After all, the watch appeared very solid and heavy, and I liked the looks of it.

The second watch watch arrived with the chrono subdial hand attached. However, the subdial minute hand was again defective. It did not track the minutes, and the zero was not set properly. I was not able reset the zero on the subdial, and the minute hand did not work in any case. I returned this second watch as well.

I was alarmed by the lack of quality control on these watches. It's almost as if the chronograph was for looks only and not supposed to be used. Invicta would have been better off removing the chrono functionality and sell the timepiece as a plain old divers watch. The watch does look sturdy and stylish, but given the substandard quality I doubt the watch would stand up to its 200M water resistance rating.

I will stay away from Invicta products in the future.

This is the Rolls Royce of watches in this price range...
I'ts my fifth Invicta, having purchased the Russian Diver, two Grand Divers and a couple of Pro Divers...........the 4901 Chrono puts them all to shame...

Why all the controversy about adjusting the bracelet?...any watchmaker can remove links to make it fit the invidual wrist....

This is one very cool timepiece....

Amazon did a great job in delivery and return. yes return. within a week the hands began to fall off of the watch. this was a bit surprising but Amazon handled it quickly and professionally.

i will try invicta again as i hope it was a fluke. i will of course use Amazon to handle the purchase.

Anyone that is into large watches will not be dissapointed by this monster. I own an Invicta Russian Diver which is also 52mm, but this watch is badder and meaner. The photo doesn't do it justice. In the photo the case looks like flat grey paint, but in person it is polished gunmetal grey with a nice satin sheen. It's one of the thickest watches made at 15mm in depth, and sits tall on the wrist. The braclet is a real beauty with black solid hard rubber links and gunmetal inserts held together with screwed in pins. High quality. It also has a couple of half links to tweek the sizing to a perfect fit. I have a small 7 1/4 inch wrist, and this watch fits with no problem. People with a smaller wrist than mine may find the case too big lug to lug. For larger wrists, this band would probably fit Golliath out of the box. You'll have all the links needed to work with. The face is large with luminous everything, including all hands, numbers and hour markers. Very,very easy to read including the triple date window. The chronograph works fine, and the watch is keeping good time. I got this watch during another one of Amazon's super deals with an unbeatable price. It's no wonder that as of this writing the watch is sold out!

This watch is huge. I like big watches but this thing is a bit too much. I have very large wrists and this brute makes them look pencil thin. The band is about impossible to adjust, no instructions are provided, ditto on the watch itself. way overpriced at it's "retail price", should be under a hundred bucks to even consider it. It really is a cartoonish device.

Wouldn't trust it in the shower let alone on a dive.

IT'S REALLY AN IMPRESSIVE HUGE WATCH, IT'S ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !

This is my second Corduba watch (I have the BlackIP/Blue version) and both are great, especially this Gunmetal/Black version.

The color of the gunmetal case and center links is a very dark gray that looks a little different from the advertising photos, but makes a perfect combination with the black rubber links and black dial with its luminous hands and hour markers.

It's a sturdy and good looking watch made with very good quality materials and it keeps good time with all functions working perfectly.

I got it on December on a great deal at an excellent price at Amazon and it was the best purchase that I've ever made.

I'm very pleased and it's certainly one of my favorites, I highly recommend it.
INVICTA DEFINITELY GOT ANOTHER FAN !!

The Invicta Corduba line is not for the timid, or someone with a wrist size less than 7". This Ibiza is all of the 52mm and then some, meaning that it has tremendous presence on your wrist and will draw attention from others. The black and gunmetal colors give it a unified and purposeful look. The bracelet is handsome and comfortable to wear as the use of synthetic in the links cuts the weight. Buying from Amazon was both fast and economical. The upgrade to 5year platinum warranty was done painlessly on the Invicta website during registration. Great product, great service, good price, donot hesitate to buy.
