Great watch mechanics, but craftsmanship left a bit to be desired...,

First of all the watch is much bigger than the picture suggests. However a couple hours after I got the watch fitted (by having some links taken off) the diver dial cover fell off. Apparently it's glued on...MSRP of $350 is way overpriced, I know. Still for a watch that should be around a hundred dollars I would expected something other than superglued coverings... I'm too lazy to return it, and it still looks nice with out the dial. I might just get some super glue and glue it back on. Also the watch is mechanical self winding. If you never had one before you might find the watch not being very accurate when you wearing it for the first week or so, but that's normal for these type of watches.

Pretty, but not very impressive,

I like the way this watch looks, but I prefer my 8929. This one doesn't have a screw-down crown, so I wouldn't expect it to seal well. Also, it doesn't have the feature that allows manual winding, so it tends to run down if I don't "shake it up" at night. Fortunately, I got mine on a "deal a day" site, so I didn't pay so much for it.

I also purchased an Invicta pro divers watch (not this one) a few years ago, and although I am still wearing it and it keeps good time, the same thing happened to mine, the rotating bezil came off at some point after a few weeks. One day it was there, the next day it was gone!!! It is not a glued on item as it rotates, so it must snap on or something. I contacted Invicta and they told me to send the watch back and they would replace the bezil. I asked them to send me the bezil and I would install it and save myself a lot of postage. They would not do it. So when this watch stops working, I will not buy another Invicta watch, but I will get the old reliable Timex for 1/3 the price. Some companies just don't learn.
