5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't be More Pleased
I ordered the watch before the two poor reviews came out about it in December. I did not open the watch until Christmas (it was a gift from my children) so I was really nervous when the poor reviews came out about the watch in between the time of ordering and the time of using the item. But my watch works great. I like the automatic movement. Although I've heard some...

1.0 out of 5 stars do not buy it!!!
For the way it feels and looks, punctuality I would give 10 stars if I could. But, Invicta made this watch with pull crown instead screw down (0 stars). Almost each time I put in and pull out hand from my jeans pocket the crown is pulled. The time and date is changed every time. It happens 1 to 5 times a day. Because of that watch cannot tell correct time, which defeats...

I ordered the watch before the two poor reviews came out about it in December. I did not open the watch until Christmas (it was a gift from my children) so I was really nervous when the poor reviews came out about the watch in between the time of ordering and the time of using the item. But my watch works great. I like the automatic movement. Although I've heard some people aren't active enough to keep their watches wound ;) I get many compliments on the watch as if it was a much more expensive watch. It's sturdy, and feels good on my wrist. I've been wearing it a month now with no adjustments needed on the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent timepiece!, December 28, 2009
This review is from: Invicta Men's 6016 Pro Diver Automatic Stainless Steel Watch (Watch)
I recently received this watch as a gift and could not be happier with it! It has a solid build and great looks (I've already received complements on it!) . More than that, however, is the accuracy of this watch. I've had no problems with its time keeping. Also, the batteryless automatic mechanism works like a charm. I shake the watch 30 seconds before I go to bed and when I wake up following 8 hours of sleep, the watch continues to run! I've had no problem with this watch and would recommend it to a friend!

I would not recommend this watch to anyone unless Invicta fixes the problem. Invicta should make this (and all dive watches) with screw down crown.

My husband and I were new to Invicta, but we were not disappointed. This watch arrived and appeared to be higher quality than expected. My husband loves the automatic winding mechanism...no more batteries. Overall, great price for a really classy watch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Invicta Diver does it again., January 30, 2010

Another quality timepiece by Invicta. This is my second watch from Invicta and they have not let me down ever. These watches are amazing with style as they are well built. I use this as my everyday watch and it is stunning and gets more looks and praise than my Tag Link. It used to piss me off that people commented more on this one. Invicta is a solid company, they are making great strides to keep up with technology and who would have thought you could get an automatic, 21 jewel timepiece for around $100.00. Only con on this watch (and I am not sure why they did this) is why not make a screw down crown to set time/date like the rest of the pro divers -- Makes me feel like I believe the water resistance rating a little more. Either way if you want a quality, solid working work horse that you will enjoy fo many years and not feel to bad when you scratch it... Get this watch!

This watch really looks nice and expensive. However, all that means nothing if it can't even tell time. I've had other watches before and this is the only one that died in less than a year.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money, February 8, 2010

I wanted a self-winding watch, and this appeared to be the least ugly available. Unfortunately, although I anticipated the need for the sizing tool and paid the extra for it, I cannot make the bracelet secure and therefore cannot wear the watch, which defeats its purpose. The bracelet is specifically excluded from the guarantee, so I have completely wasted my money!

I've been an Amazon costumer for many years and this is the FIRST time I had to do a return on a product. In less than 2 weeks I've had to return the same product twice. The first time I got the watch, I noticed that every 2 days the time was off by 5-8 minutes. So I returned it. I ordered a new one because I really loved the watch and the looks. The second watch came a week later and this one didn't even move. I tapped the watch and finally got running. After an hour it stopped again. Maybe is the battery, I don't know, but why would you worry about a battery in a new watch priced over $300?

Now I'm $140 down waiting for a refund. Do NOT recommend to anyone.

I think that I will go for a MUCH LESS expensive watch that can give me the same look. Last time I checked a watch is supposed to give the time not headaches RIGHT?

Invicta......very bad first and second Impression.
