Much has been written about this watch as well as it's cousin, the black 9937. This is an incredible watch and with the coin edge bezel is strikingly similar not only in looks but in quality to the rolex submariner which is about 20X the price. In a way it is a shame they look so much alike since the quality of this watch should not put it in a "knock- off" category. There are a couple of variants of this watch out there. The coin bezel version is a re-release of the original of this watch and it is the hardest one to fine. (It says "swiss movement" on the bottom as opposed to "swiss" underneath the invicta logo.)On all versions the swiss ETA movement is very precise (much better than the corresponding invicta with the japanese movement- although this too is a good watch) and the band, bezel, crown, case are of the highest quality as is the gold plating. I love watches, and I have been shocked at the value of Invicta watches.

My Invicta 9938 arrived today and I am extremely pleased. This is my second Invicta. The other is a gold swiss Speedway. Owning two Rolexes, I can truly say that Invicta compares favorably in every way, and at 1/20th the price! This watch is made like an M1 Abrams tank. Not only beautiful, but surely can take a beating and keep on repeating. I don't see how Invicta can produce such fine watches at such reasonable prices. I am sure I will buy other Invictas. For the price of a Rolex, I can buy a dozen! This product I can truly recommend.

I have looked at other watches and ordered one Invicta watch the 3095 that looked like this watch. I scratched the crystal within one week. I then set about to find a watch like it and found this watch. This watch far exceeds my expectations. You can actually see the date in the magnifier, has a saphire crystal, even fits my wrist better than the 3095, I also like the skelton back. The hand does sweep in this watch. All in all i would make this purchase the first time.

I've had this watch for about a year. Couldn't be more pleased, and at this price! I highly recommend this watch. Lots of compliments.

I own quite a few Invictas. I have three with the SW-200 movement other than the 9938. Two are Invicta Reserve watches and one is the 4469. All keep exceptional time, so I was surprised when after purchasing the 9938 I found it was gaining a whopping five minutes a day in time. For a watch that costs this much that is unacceptable. I can use it for a formal watch, but that still does not excuse this lapse in qaulity control when it comes to a 26 jewel Swiss made movement. Beautiful product, but if it can't compete with the cheaper Japanese 21 jewel movement, than I would recommend purchasing the 88xx series and saving a whole lot of money!

Very impressive watch! This watch's build quality is much more comparable to any high end brand and their diver series.
Very accurate, has performed in sync with my atomic clocks to the second. Very smooth Swiss movement. Feels and performs like it costs much much more. This Invicta is in a league of it's own; quality is much like Invicta's reserve line.

I've had the 9938 for just over two years and find it very accurate and beautiful. It took about a month to break it in, then it has consistently ran about 2 secs/day slow. I've learned that if left face up overnight and worn all day, it will run for well over a month without gaining or loosing as much as 5 secs. Mine does not have the 25 jewel ETA-2824 Swiss movement that originally came in these watches. Instead, mine has the 26 jewel Selita SW200 Swiss movement, commonly called an ETA clone. Comparing the movement in this watch to those in other automatic Swiss watches in my collection, this movement is among the most consistently accurate of the lot.

The 23K gold plating really sparkles beautifully along with the highly polished steel parts and the sapphire crystal. I often notice people sneaking an inspection, presumeabley to see whether it's a Rolex. People often do the same when I wear my steel and gold Rolex sub, whose timeless design Invicta has nicely copied. The blue dial is strikingly beautiful too, particularly in the sunlight.

The only item I don't like about this watch is that numbers on the bezel are in a more copperish dull gold color than the rest of the gold. Also, the blue part of the bezel is quite easy to scratch. I'd prefer screws rather than the existing pins in the bracelet for securing the extra links, but they work fine once they're in place.

I will recommend this watch to anyone who wants an accurate high quality divers watch.

The watch is teriffic and the the entire transaction went quite smoothly. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied.

After less than a year, the crown on my Invicta men's 9938 Pro Diver watch would not screw in properly. This made the watch subject to water damage. I returned the watch to Invicta for servicing under the warranty. They requested that I pay for both shipping and a repair charge which came to over $40. Worst of all, I was told that the standard time for repairs is 90 days. This is unacceptable.
