Invicta Men's 5622 Pro Diver Collection Wakesetter Stainless Steel Watch

I had originally placed the Invicta Wakesetter Pro Diver 5622 in my cart at Amazon a couple of months ago, planning to purchase it for an unheard of $49.00. Sadly, I didn't realize that they would be out of stock when I went back later in the week to order it. To add insult to injury, the price skyrocketed after it came back "in stock" a week or two later.

I looked for other Invicta divers, but nothing "spoke to me" like the 5622. Luckily, when Amazon ran a 25% off select Invicta watches sale in January, there was the yellow faced Wakesetter! I ordered it, and 2 days later, it arrived.

First things first:

This is a big horkin' watch. Not like a wall clock on your wrist, like the Russian Diver series, but it is big....47mm big. It's also thick, and heavy, so if that's not your thing, look elsewhere. Luckily, it is my thing.

It looks good on my wrist. The face is bold but not jarring, and the time is easy to read. The screw down crown is a nice touch, as are the luminescent indicators. The bracelet is comfortable, and was easy to adjust. Once the watch has been worn for a bit, you almost forget the weight/size of it; that is until you take it off and suddenly your arm feels naked.

I've gotten tons of compliments on my watch. My male friends all want to know what it is, where I got it, and they comment that "It must have been expensive". The guy who sold me my car recently asked me if I wanted to trade watches with him, he liked it so much! The women I know are all impressed with the watch's looks too. I've been told that ladies notice watches and shoes on men, and they certainly have noticed this watch. I've had nothing but good feedback thus far from men and women.

It's not an Omega, Breitling, Rolex, or Tag Heuer, but the Invicta is stylish and functional. For the price, it's tough to beat. It's visually striking, and its price doesn't hurt one's wallet too badly.

This watch is owesome!!!! Its a nice looking watch, the color is so cool and Amazon's service was great also... Fast delivery, will do business again as long as it ships from Amazon.

This as a fantastic watch. This is my third Invicta Wakesetter of different colors. The wakesetter is a perfect size for an oversize watch. The dial is very easy to read. There is nothing I don't like about this watch.

I wanted this watch for some time and after reading many positive reviews, I purchased on brand new.I certainly did not expect a Diver Series watch that touted "660ft Water Resistant Tested" to leak the first time I wore it in the pool. I have 12 Invicatas with no issues and then this happens. Quite embarassing when showing the watch to friends knowing I am an "Invicata Guy" but even more, I am just plain disappointed. Yes, I had the stem wound in tight and the watch was brand new. I have to question just how it was tested. I was able to remove the case back, pull the stem and remove the moisture from inside the crystal using compressed air. A diver watch that could not pass 30 laps on the surface of the pool. Looks like this is a fair weather watch which really defeats the purpose!

At first I was apprehensive about getting a watch with such a large face. However since I have been wearing it, anything smaller is just too small. The watch is the perfect weight and once you get the band size correct it sits very comfortably on the arm too. I would certainly recommend this watch to anybody wanting a good watch at a great price.

I bought this watch for my stepfather for x-mas and he loves it. It is alittle bit bigger and heavier than i thought it was going to be but he is 6'3 and loves the watch. Get value too!!

I received this watch about a month ago. It's my third Invicta. Love the look, feel and weight of the watch. Perfect right....well after wearing the watch for the second time, the pin holding the safety clasp (secondary clasp on the band) fell off. I went to a local jeweler who told me Invicta does not sell their parts to anyone and I would have to send the watch back to get it repaired. I've heard lots of bad things about Invicta's customer service.....I'll be sending the watch back after the Christmas rush and see for myself how Invicta follows up.

This is an incredible watch for the price! I really did not expect this much quality when I received it. I would definitely purchase again.

This was purchased for my boyfriend as a birthday gift and he loved it!! It is a beautiful watch and it looks fantastic on him! The color is awesome and very original. He wanted something different then the standard black or blue face watches. The shipping was right on time without any issues. I already ordered him another for Christmas!!
