I obtained this chronograph, brand new, off eBay for about $85 total. Quite a steal when compared to the $465 MSRP! It is the largest watch I own. The width of the case (including crown) is 52mm! The case is 11mm thick. The white dial is very clean, crisp, and detailed. The second hand is stepping, not sweeping like I've seen described on some websites. I swapped out the brown leather band for a black leather band w/ red stitching and deployment clasp. The red stitching matches the red markers and hands rather nicely. The stock brown leather band is quite hefty and supple. The generous proportions of the watch plus the inverted crown and chronograph push-buttons ("lefty") certainly make this timepiece an item of conversation. The luminous markers and hands are crisp but are of average brightness with other watches. I definetly recommend this watch. Invicta has yet again produced a high-quality watch at an unbeatable value. Email me (mixed_by_djms@hotmail.com) if you want more info or photos.

This was the first Invicta watch I ever purchased so I wasn't sure of what to expect. I was surprised by the nice yellow storage box it comes in...first rate. The watch itself comes covered by those thin plastic films protecting scratchable surfaces, I was glad of that. The accuracy is very, very excellent. Syncing all my watches to an atomic clock, this watch's sync has remained for a few days now...losing only a second! Thick and heavy watch. Very nice band. This piece generates conversations. I'm proud of it. The large numbers glow nicely upon a lighting charge. Chronograph works fine. The pushers feel high quality; the crown feels very precision: it's very large, free spins with some resistance pushed all the way in; pulled out it clicks very nicely with no wiggle play. Seeing the the hands turned with precision on that huge dial is rewarding.

Initially I was very happy with this watch as it offered classic styling with a good size chronograph for a great price. However, second hand (red at noon) became loose and shaky after a few months. Further on, the bottom chronograph resets to the 10 minute hand rather than zero. I took it to a watch repair shop and he said it will be quite expensive to open up the case and reset this considering the value of the watch. The watch looks great (elegantly oversized) and these are not major flaws considering the price but if you value accuracy in your watch selection Invicta watches may not be the best choice. From experience, Citizen or Sieko will likely save you time and headaches in the future.

i was looking for a watch for a while... this one is great...i love the left handed design (i wear mine on my left hand, which might not be the correct way to wear a lefty watch, but i dont care)... keeps time perfectly, band and face look beautiful... the watch is right on the border for me of being too big, but after a few days of wearing it, it doenst bother me at all... its perfect... been getting lots of compliments with it too, which is funny, i think over all the years, ive gotten only 1 compliment on my rolex submariner...wow... im very happy, in fact i now also own a blackface/ black band version on this same watch, however i did put a brushed chrome band on that one, and it looks amazing...

I love Invicta watches and to be able to purchase them for around $100 is a great deal! They are of excellent quality and I will explain why.
I purchased them a few months back and I absolutely love them and wear them to death. It can be worn up or down depending on your outfit and I gets compliments from everyone.
I was worried that the large face would make it seem too flashy and obnoxious but the sleek elegant and intricate designs of the watch allowed for them to be worn casually and classily(Not a word).

ALSO, this is PERFECT for left-handed people such as myself. It is great to finally have one for the team! +1 bonus points

Body: (4****/5*****)

The face is large and brilliant and so well detailed that it is quite captivating and looks very sophisticated regardless of the colorway you choose. The quartz body is tough and can take quite a beating (I'm pretty rough with it during work and it is scratchless). As mentioned earlier, the watch is also meant for left handers - Excellent! It is great for wearing out casually or by dressing it up. Whatever you decide, it will work excellently! There are a variety of colorways and styles available by Invicta, all for the same price of $99

Band: (2**/5*****)

This is the only true issue with this watch. The band is a weird material and it is very prone to damage. I've had this watch for a 6 months now and the band has started to deteriorate from wear and tear coupled with water touching the band a few times. It has started to shave off and has become quite unsightly. I swapped out the band for a classic leather set and I am very happy. I was a little upset that the original band didn't fair that well but the watch is for a bargain and I don't think the makers were expecting day-to-day wear as I have subjected it to.

Price: (4****/5*****)

$99 is an excellent value for this watch but I highly doubt that the watch is and was worth $695+ some time ago. Clever marketing from Amazon and Invicta.
Still I believe for $99 you are getting a very stylish watch. You can find plenty of watches for UNDER this price but I don't think you will be able to match the level of detail and quality. In terms of overall practicality, this watch doesn't really meet that criteria as the chronograph and other features are primarily there as a simple perk. Still, if you need a simple timer, timeteller, and calender all in a stylish package - this is the watch for you! There is also a provided warranty for a year!

Summary -

Pros:

+ Price
+ Left-handed
+ Large face
+ Quality construction in that price range
+ Very affordable

Cons:

- Not many special features, but is mainly for style and quality
- Band is a little fragile due to the strange material, Suggest swapping out or wearing more carefully.

First of all I have to tell you that the product that I recfeived was not the product that was advertised and that I though that I was buying; the advrtised one ( see picture ) has cronograpph functions with following detail:

Dial at 12 o'clock shows regular watch seconds in a 60 seconds scale
Dial at 3 o'clock shows chronograph hours in a 24 hour scale and with a red pointer with rounded tip
Dial at 6 o'clock shows chronograph minutes in a 60 minutes scale
Chronograph seconds are taken care by the long red seconds pointer

I bought this watch because I already owned a 2770 model ( same features, except black dial and strap )which allows me to time accurately seconds ( up to 60 ) , minutes ( up to 60 ) and hours ( up to 24 )

Now, what I received ( you can check in my shared pictures )has the following :

Dial at 12 o'clock is a second watch in a 12 hour scale , it shows elapsed time ( hours+minutes ) when in chronograph operation
Dial at 3 o'clock shows regular watch seconds, with a red pointer with rounded head ( hour type )
Dial at 6 o'clock shows 1/10 of seconds in chronograph operation
Chronograph seconds are taken care by the long red pointer ( the only feature that arrived as offered )

The purchase watch times 1/10 seconds up to 1 second, seconds up to 60 and hours+minutes as a a second watch up to 12 hours

The watch looks as pretty as it was advertised , but I did not get the functionalities that I wanted and were advertised

Having gotten used to the 1/10 of seconds ( which I dont need ) and to descipher the minutes elapsed in the second watch dial
and with no chance of getting what was advertised , the watch is stil beautiful and I liked wearing it

I would have given it 5 stars if I had received what I ordered as advertised

Just arrived today, and I must say this is a very nice watch to look at. I'm very impressed with the style and packaging. I normally stick to Citizen's and also received a Citizen Proximity for Christmas as well and from looks alone this watch just as impressive. I did receive the watch pictured. I do remember someone stating they received a different watch little different than pictured. Which was a small concern until I received the watch. It also came with a 5 year warranty once I registered it. Something my Citizens watches offer as well though I spent hundreds more on the Citizens.

Is one of my favorites. The piece is elegant in a simplistic way. I have gotten several complements on it and it goes well with a variety of attires. Is specially fitting for those of us that have thick arms and wrists. It makes them look "normal" and the watch make its presence known without getting lost in the excess wrist real state like smaller watches do. On the practical side, the chronograph is quite nice and convenient for those out there who make use of it, but is not absolutely accurate and it falls out of alignment every once in a while. Don't be turned down yet... The piece does provide the settings capabilities to adjust it. The protective mineral crystal display is actually really strong and truly scratch resistant. I accidentally scrape my pieces more than I like to admit and always get one or two scratches. With this watch I haven't yet... and I have definitely bumped it against walls and desks a few times. At this point that constitutes a miracle to me and I'm beyond impressed. I haven't try to test its water resistance except for the occasional rain and I'm not going to, so I can't attest for that here. Its metal composition does not seem to elicit any kind of skin response (allergic or so...) to it so for those with sensitive skin, this may be something to consider! WORD OF CAUTION: It's not for every occasion. So if you are a practical guy and want one watch for all times, then I would think about it twice. It does not goes well with formal attire since the crown is thick and your dress shirt may not accommodate for something as large. Unless you are willing to sacrifice the tighter fitting formal dress ware requires then I would suggest you keep this piece for other less formal occasions. Besides, is not a dress piece anyways. Considering the cost of it here I would say is a fine purchase and I am enjoying it immensely.

I have always been a fan of Invicta going back to my Speedway 2644 that was a gift many years ago and still works and looks great. This has become one of my go to watches and one that receives the most compliments. I would say that this is fair compromise between the larger watches like Russian diver and smaller like the Speedway. The white face and polished case make it easy to dress up or down and it's dark brown leather band with built-in quick release pins make changing bands fast. I ordered a bunch of nylon nato bands in a variety of colors and two Tech Swiss 22mm 1553 flat black and saddle brown thick leather with bold stiching and panerai buckle to mix it up, the silicone band from another watch also looks great. I've worn this watch a few days a week for over 6 months and it doesn't have a scratch, has kept perfect time and I liked it so much I got it different colors. It resembles the 1517 series but a functions and cosmetic differences if you really look. It was shipped fast, packaged well and arrived in original protective plastic with all paperwork and a clean yellow watch box. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
