eye catching mens watch,

Purchased this watch for my husband (after he narrowed it down to a few), I liked the look of this one the best; it is a handsome, eye-catching watch. He has received several compliments and comments as it is so unique with a big curved glass face. It is a big watch but my husband is 6'1' so he can pull it off. He said the date stuck but he got the knob to turn and it works (that why I rate it a 4 vs. 5). Comes in a bright yellow, solid box so presentation is nice.

Just not worth it.,

I bought the watch looking for something to wear not everyday but to join in the rotation of several other watches of which there is only one other Invicta. This watch is very large but manages to fit good on the wrist however the clasp would not snap close as it should. I attempted to make a slight a adjustment to the mechanism but it didn't improve much at all. I decided I wasn't crazy about this watch and having it not function as it should I was just turned off by the watch and Invicta. I often look at these watches because they LOOK nice and the price is virtually unbeatable. However I have not been impressed with any of the watches once I handle them, they just don't have the feel of a quality watch. You don't have to spend too much more to get a swiss made automatic watch that will surely last a lifetime. I own an Accutron Gemini w/ black dial and black leather band with a Valjoux 7750 automatic movement, which is found in much higher end watches like Breitling and Rolex, I paid just over $500 for it. Comparing this level of quality and craftsmanship to an Invicta even with their great prices its just not worth it. Don't make the mistake of buying 2 or 3 or 4 Invictas, buy 1 or 2 watches at the next level price point, it will be worth it in the end and you will know what I mean when you put the nicer watch on your wrist.

A portable Grandfather Clock for the wrist,

Yeah, to say it's big just doesn't cut it. I do have a small wrist but can pull this off...with long sleeve shirts. It's very attractive and I think easy to read, so that's why I bought it, my eyes arren't what they used to be. The buckle will take a little getting used to, but seems very secure. Don't bank on being able to read the date at a glance, too small. Most Invictas I've looked at are the same, must be a trade mark or something. Personally I think these are meant to be conversation pieces meant to be noticed. If you want descreet, try the thin line. I do like it enough that I am considering another, at the right price.

I just ordered this watch after a few days of browsing others similar. This watch has everything I was looking for in a elegant everyday watch for work/special occassions. It's a relatively chunky square face watch with a thick leather band which is also easily interchangable (I will be ordering a red and yellow leather bands for this watch). I've worn it for only a few days and already got compliments on the watch !!! I love it and I would buy another Invicta watch in a heart beat.

This watch looks great and is very stylish, but did not hold up. Within a few months, the dial fell off. I would recommend this watch if it is to wear once in a while, but for daily use, it does not hold up well.

My husband made a comment about this watch while he was looking for another watch, and I just saved it in the cart until I was able to purchase it. He wears it when we go out together. It's not an everyday watch. It looks very expensive, and it stands out for people to see you own nice things. If he was to buy a watch he would have spent more money, but he was very pleased when I gave him this watch as a gift. Plus he didn't know that I got it at a great price.

Great value in a watch. It's easy to read, looks good dressed-up or down.I don't have a big wrist, but this watch is very comfortable to wear for a larger time piece. I am sold on Invicta for value and style.

This is a very nice watch, a bit oversized so a smaller man may think twice about buying it. The quality is top notch and for the money it just can't be beat.

I just received my Invicta Lupah yesterday and have already received many compliments on it, that lead to lengthy conversations.
With regards to the size of this watch, if you are a smaller man, you may not want to purchase this watch for it's unusaully big size. However, if you are looking to make a statement, this is the watch for you. The stop watch takes a few times to get used to its function, but once you have it down, it is very accurate. The band leaves little to be desired however, it does not like to stay locked and often falls from my wrist. This is the only problem I have with this watch. My wife bought this for me for our 15th wedding anniversary and I was pleasantly surprised with it. I have put my Bulova in it's box for a while and will use it when I feel it necessary. This watch is a great every day wear and any man would be proud of owning a time piece of this quality. |
