Great Price/ Quality Watch, June 19, 2008
This review is from: Invicta Men's 3252 10 Collection Cyrus Watch (Watch)
I bought this for my Dad for Father's Day & I am very happy with it as well as my Dad. It has a nice blue face & everything is easy to read, not too small where you have to squint. It has a heavier more expensive feel to it but not too heavy weight. My Dad immediately loved it & mentioned how much he liked the blue face dial. He is in his 70's & has never had a nice watch like this. I like it because I think it is very versatile. I think it could be used as a casual watch as well as a dressy watch. I think that is the sign of a classic design. FYI-It has a darker silver look to it, not like a typical stainless steel. It is polished but just has a slightly darker color to the band. I like this because it makes the watch look different, not the run of the mill that everyone has. I also like the way the hands & hours glow at night to make it easier to read in the dark. This is also something that my Dad never had in a watch & he likes it. This is my 2nd Invicta purchase & I love them. I have found them on sale & you can't beat the quality of this more expensive watch for the price. If you find them onsale go for it, you'll love them. The other one I bought from ShopNBC.

Looks great, but fails miserably, March 25, 2009
This review is from: Invicta Men's 3252 10 Collection Cyrus Watch (Watch)
I was very excited when I first ordered and received this watch. The band is solid and heavy. The watch face is a vibrant deep blue. The dial window is sapphire and holds up quite well (I've had it for 8 months and not a scratch on it). So when I first got it I would have rated it 5/5. Then I notice condensation forming on the inside of the window. This watch has only touched water when I wash my hands, so there is no excuse for it. It has built up to the point where the condensation conceals the watch face! To make matters worse, the watch stopped working. I reset the time, and the watch starts ticking. After a while, it slows and then stops completely. I'm currently dealing with Invicta as it is still under warranty, but they want me to pay for shipping it there and back with insurance. That will cost about what I paid for the thing! Besides, if they couldn't put it together properly the first time, why would I practically pay for it a second time just to give them another chance to do a bad job?
Since purchasing this watch, I have found out Invicta has a great reputation with their expensive high-end divers watches, but is infamous for it's poor quality lower-end time pieces.
Do not buy this watch. Spend your money on a nicer Citizen or save some green by buying a Timex (I have one that I was wearing when I got hit by a car years ago and it took a direct hit. The thing still keeps perfect time).
