A great deal . . ., August 22, 2007

First, this review takes care of "Invicta Men's 10 Collection Cyrus Watch #3233, #3234 & #3235", as I own all three. All three look great; stylish and sophisticated. These watches look much better in hand than the pictures were able to depict. They do have weight (I hesitate to use the term "heavy" because that is relative to each individual). I personally appreciate the substantial-ness of the watches. I did have to remove some links from the band, as I have medium sized wrists, but I purchased that equipment from Amazon as well and saved myself a good bit of money by not having to go to a jewelry store to have it done. They come with a 10-year battery, have 23k gold-plating and a sapphire crystal. They also have a form so you can register for an additional 4-year extended warranty at no extra charge since the purchase is through Amazon (5 years total). All this for less than $50.00. I'll reserve the 5-star designation only after I've had them a couple years and can comment on their durability.
August 8, 2011: I have now worn this watch for 4 years plus and can report that I have not had any problems. The 10-year battery is still going strong and the sapphire crystal has not sustained any scratches. Now, I don't wear this watch everyday but fairly often. It is a watch I wear when my clothes are in the brown/green/khaki area of my closet. The weight has never been an issue. I do wear it somewhat loose; bracelet like. The luminous dial and hands are easily seen in the dark. I've enjoyed this watch very much and expect to for quite a while.
