good watch with limitations,

I decided to buy this watch after reading the reviews of other owners on Amazon..Also I own a few other Invicta watches..The design and quality of workmanship is very good on this watch..Also,it is what Invicta calls mid-size...Well, I have seen and worn the LARGE ones (52mm and larger cases)(Venom, etc)and they are just TOO big to be worn for long. .This mid size is also quite large (17mm thick) and 44mm case size..This is big compared to many watches including my Tag Heuer Aquaracer.. I do have one problem with this watch I must mention..The face is silver and the GMT hand makes the time a little hard to read when it lines up with the hour hand when you are not wearing glasses...The minute and hour hand are not solid..That is to say,you can see through them..3/4 of the 2 hands are hollow.. There is not enough contrast between the hands and the face of the watch..Therefore,often I cannot see the time on this watch without putting on reading glasses...I do not have this problem with any other watches I own..Of course other people who always wear eye-glasses or contacts would never have this issue with this fine watch...other than this limitation,I will say this is an extremely nice watch and one that will make you happy when you pull it out of the box.. I have this watch for sale on Craigslist right now...I wish that I had purchased the same watch with a black face..much easier for me to see the faint hands..I believe the black mid-size version is model F0011..

I purchased this as a birthday present to my self last October and it has been on my wrist almost daily ever since. I am an avid watch collector with nearly 300 time pieces in my collection. The watches I own range from $200.00 range to upwards of $250,000, so needless to say I have the "best of the best" to choose from every day when I am picking a watch to wear. The case size is absolutly perfect for daily wearability, the bracelet is by far one of the most well constructed that you will be able to find at ANY price point and the look is so unique that any one who you show it to or notices it on your wrist will swear it cost you $5k plus!! I have had more complements on this piece than I have had on my Zenith Zero-G Gyro-tourbillion!!!!Bottomb line, if you want the best built time pice that money can buy that will get you more complements than you can imagine, this is the piece for you.

The Invicta Reserve Specialty is a work of art. The case and bracelet design are so detailed it's amazing the amount of work that must go into making one. The all silver color is a good choice for a subtle, understated watch that doesn't detract from the watch design. The bracelet is very flexible and light, almost like a fabric. Since the bezel is so detailed with the scalloped edge, screws and inner ring, the dial itself is only 30mm. However, the GMT movement makes the dial look bigger than the chronograph version. The watch is the midsize version but is as big as I would want. The case at 17mm high is large but comfortable. The bracelet is fairly long and needed five links removed when sized. Setting the watch is easy. Unscrew the crown and pull out one notch adjusts the time, two notches: one way is GMT, the other way is the date. Swiss Made.

I like the watch, but I broke the glass accidentally that is not covered by warranty.I paid 6% of the retail price(not the price $152.31 I bought, it is much higher--- $1500, and they said it will take 3-4 months to fix....

I have a average to small wrist and this watch looks good. It is heavy and is very thick, but it makes a statement. It is a little difficult to tell time at first because of the white hands.
