Product Description

Be prepared for a night out on the town or a day's diving the reefs with Invicta's stylish, 23 karat gold-plated Ocean Ghost II diving watch with automatic movement, which provides water resistance up to 200 meters (660 feet). It features a round, shock-resistant gold-tone stainless steel case with embossed unidirectional rotating bezel. The silver dial background is accented by gold triangular dial markers and Tritnite luminous hands (with gold seconds hand). The gold-tone stainless steel bracelet band mixes brushed and polished pieces. Other features include an antireflective mineral crystal with magnifier, Cabochon crown, see-through case back, and date function at 3 o'clock.

Pro Diver Collection

Plunge into any horizon using the steadfast guidance of the Invicta Pro Diver. Stylishly classic, internal workings are forged with variations of either Swiss chronograph or 21-jewel automatic movements and willingly navigate in depths up to 300 meters. Built with confident prowess, the fortitude with which these timepieces function makes the Pro Diver the quintessential in performance.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Automatic Watches

Automatic watches do not operate on batteries. Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work together to tell time. Automatic movements mark the passage of time by a series of gear mechanisms, and are wound by the movement of your wrist as you wear it. The gear train then transmits the power to the escapement, which distributes the impulses, turning the balance wheel. The balance wheel is the time regulating organ of a mechanical watch, which vibrates on a spiral hairspring. Lengthening or shortening the balance spring makes the balance wheel go faster or slower to advance or retard the watch. The travel of the balance wheel from one extreme to the other and back again is called oscillation. Lastly, automatic movements come in different types, including movements that are Swiss-made, Japanese-made, and more.

Also referred to as self-winding, watches with automatic movements utilize kinetic energy, the swinging of your arm, to provide energy to an oscillating rotor to keep the watch ticking. They're considered more satisfying to watch collectors (horologists) because of the engineering artistry that goes into the hundreds of parts that make up the movement. If you do not wear an automatic watch consistently (for about 8 to 12 hours a day), you can keep the watch powered with a watch winder (a great gift for collectors).

I love this watch. It is a great watch for a man. It is pretty large and you can't miss it. I have been complimented on it. Looks like a million $$. Solid as a rock. I plan to buy another to put away so if they stop making it I will have a spare.

I am giving this 5 stars because with this watch, you get what you pay for. First, it's substantial in size with it's 50mm case. Second, the gold layering really looks good. Third, the Japanese automatic movement keeps great time, with any inaccuracy too small to be noticed. Overall, the watch is simple elegance- not too blingy - and definitely worth the price paid. Hint: get a watch link removing tool, as you will almost definitely be removing links!

Having received this watch in record time from USA to England I am very pleased with both the look and quality of it. I already own 4 Invicta watches purchased recently so quality and style were expected. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that it is rather large. Would suit a person of big stature and large wrist, BUT it looks a bit like "Big Ben" on my wrist, BUT hey ho my Daughter tells me large watchfaces are in!!

This is a large, bright gold finish dress watch. Lot of emphasis on the large. I tell my friends that I bought it online so I didn't really know I was buying a wall clock.
Runs great so far (1 mo.) and I really like it. Again, it's large....I'm 6'5" and over 200 lbs. so it's not so noticeable but on a smaller wrist it might be too much.
I did have to remove two links from the band.

This is a beautiful watch. Very classy. Everyone will notice this watch. Excellent for a gift to someone you truly care about or for yourself if you are a guy and like the bling bling look. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because I did not get the cleaning cloth that is supposed to be included in all invicta watch boxes

Stunning is the word when viewing this watch; when ever one views it. Durable is the feel while dress is the game. I have owned this model for 4 months now and I simply love to dress up and let it shine. It is truly an Invicta milestone in eloquence and bling.

This is a good watch for the money. I bought this quite awhile ago and thoght a review after some use would be helpful. This automatic keeps very good time - gains a minute or so per day. You can also skip a day between wearings and it is still running. The appearance looks like real gold when compared with real gold, it doesn't appear too yellow. Even after having all this time there are no scratches on the case, crystal, or band nor are there any wear marks. If you're looking for a watch that is styled on the elegant side but still sporty this is a good example. I have a few Invictas and all have performed very well. I am not a fan of this style of clasp so I rated it a 4, but that's probably a preference thing and shouldn't detract from someone else's opinion.

I purchased this beautiful time piece a couple years ago and I am known to be far less than fragile with my watches. I wear it for dress, sport, and constantly in the ocean and it has yet to fail me. I have two sons who beg me to will it to them when I pass not realizing how affordable it is and I refuse to tell them, I am thinking of buying them each one for a Christmas or birthday gift. I have collected watches for several years and the Invicta model #2306 remains one of my favorites. This was $money$ well spent and the watch's quality far exceeds the dollars spent. Since purchasing this Invicta I have purchased several others and have not regretted one of them. I will be purchasing more and I have absolutely no doubts of the quality Invicta offers. Go for it, you certainly will not regret adding this watch as a show piece or an every day beater, it can handle most anything you can dish out and it will just smile and in its own little way it says, "Thank you sir, may I have another"!
