Disjointed and somewhat scattered!,

This review is from: Invincible (Book 4): Head of the Class (v. 4) (Paperback)
Robert Kirkman does his normal thing here once again. Putting Mark in these goofy situations and then letting the readers watch him struggle to get through them. While I really enjoyed the last couple of trades this one was a little lacking in the same dynamism. All the chapters didn't seem to go together well and that could be because the editor packaged this wrong but it felt disjointed. Also, I'm starting to think that while Invincible is just that, he himself and his personality is pretty boring. The other people in his wacky life are way more interesting. The art was the same as before which is overall good but lacked definition and backgrounds a lot. Overall, this is not the best of Invincible but I have faith that the creators can rebound.
