Just as a Meng Fei fan, November 15, 2011
This review is from: The Invincible Kung Fu Trio (DVD)
It's a story about three shaolin leaders, Fang Shi Yu (Meng Fei), Lu A Cai (John Liu) and Hong Xi Guan (Lee Chung-Gen).
Angela Mao appears as Fang Shi Yu's uncle's daughter (not a main charactor) and master of Crane Fist.
If you like these actors and their fighting scenes, then you may enjoy the movie.
I don't call it a masterpiece, but not a disaster.
The three characters are equal, or it can be said this is Hong Xi Guan's growing-up story, learning to control his temper as well as Crane Fist, but there are so many special shots for Meng Fei!
I dare to say, this movie is to show the STAR(s)!
(I am just giving 5 stars as a Meng Fei fan.)

Another Shaolin and Wu-Tang battle!, January 4, 2001
3 shaolin students, now rebels team up in hopes of bringing down the evil Wu-Tang emperor, and his clan of priests. Can these three match against the high priests deadly Butterfly fist? And can they fight their way through his diabolical plans? Many styles, and the old school Shaolin vs Wu-Tang plot gives this film a good feel. some good actors as well: John Liu (early days), Chi Kwan Tai, Kam Kong, and a list of others.
