Excellent book on the metaphysical arts.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Invisibility & Levitation : How-To Keys To Personal Performance (Paperback)
Commander X's new book: Invisibility and Levitation is an extremely detailed look at two of mankinds most compelling mysteries. Few realize the long history of people who could levitate either at will or unexpectedly. This book also deals with the art of invisibility and some methods that have been handed down over the generations. This book is a must for anyone interested in the ancient art of metaphysics.

This book is misleading,
This review is from: Invisibility & Levitation : How-To Keys To Personal Performance (Paperback)
This book lacks information, gives you parts of spells from thegreater key of soloman, and tries to confuse you with pictures ofastral projection. I found that there was not enough "how-to" info on levitation and the invisibility section was excerpted from another, better book. Don't buy it.. trust me.. They try to pass off astral projection pics for ones of physical levitation...

Very Interesting Book,
This review is from: Invisibility & Levitation : How-To Keys To Personal Performance (Paperback)
This is definately about the most detailed book you will ever find on invisiblity. But the reason why I don't rate this a five-star book is because it doesn't explain good enough how to come back after getting invisible. And as for the levitation, it's good on explaining the history of levitation, but isn't too detailed on how to do it. It does though tell you how to work as a group to succeed in performing this art. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in this type of art, and anyone who likes to read a good book. Since I've bought it, I've had about four friends ask if they could borrow it. But me myself, I decided to not try to perfect this art for a while, because first of all, like I said, it doesn't tell you how to come back from being invisible. But the main reason is, it's seems way to freaky. But I'll say this much, I once tried one of the excercises, and then went to the bathroom and for a split second could not see my reflection.

Very very disappointing,

When I bought this book I was hoping for just one gem of information. The book falls horribly short. I would rate it less than 1 star if that existed. Many of the the examples given are old debunked stories and photos. The how to section consists of concentrate and clear your mind. Gee thanx. Save your money I wish I had.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Invisibility & Levitation : How-To Keys To Personal Performance (Paperback)
Basically over 3/4 of the book are about this guys life experiences if you want to levitate yourself alone don't get this book because all it does is say how to levitate the table (Didn't work in my case) and yogic levitation (it sounded so stupid I didn't even try it and It goes more in depth with Invisibility (I've tried every way yet it still doesn't work)mabye I'm wrong or something but if you're a kid then DON'T I REPEAT DON'T GET THIS BOOK!!!!! I rated it a 2 because it didn't not tell you how to do it but it also is mostly a life story and for me it didn't work I don't know mabye it will work for you but all I'm saying is that it didn't work for me so try looking at books not by Commander X I don't even have a way to research the guy geez!

NOT even worth a look,

I had bought this book with an open mind. Once I started reading, I kept waiting for the how-to or just some interesting information. Sadly, I got nothing. The first half is about satanic/demonic theory. The second is basically a list of prayers to a pantheon of gods. It claims to be in Sanskrit, but I know Sanskrit, and this grammar is all wrong. One small part talks about how people(ninjas) used smoke bombs to cloud other eyes and cover themselves in their bombs to escape quickly. Even this trivial info is described vaguely. Sorry to say, the book is nothing more than a joke, believe me.

repetitive and just off the topic....,

when I first got this book, I was feeling a bit weird just reading this psycho non-sense. nothing but disapointment came from this book soon after. first of all, its not even a how-to guide at all, secondly, the only time it focuses anything on the main topics is when it has a paragraph about ancient ninjas using smoke bombs to cloud other people's eyes and thus become "invisible". the topic(s) this book focuses much more on is about occult/religious happenings, which sound like nothing more than plain spurred up accounts used to fool the superstitious. The part that gets really repetitive is about satanism and its followers, which is just plain freaky as how the author describes it. Nothing much more than that, theres no how to stuff, and the only interesting part is one or two pics with smoke in it saying that that is someone worshipping some demonic god. my advice- dont buy this made-up non sense unless you are just out to waste your money and time.

Great book, but it's not perfect,

I loved this book! After reading it, I became a master of both invisibility and levitation.
However, I've found that the two things sometimes don't go hand in hand very well together. If I'm just invisible and not levitating, or just levitating while I'm not invisible, I'm perfectly fine. My problem is when I'm trying to levitate while I'm invisible. When you're invisible, your depth perception gets all messed up and it can become a potentially dangerous situation. For example, the other day I was invisible and levitating several feet up in the air so I could watch my neighbor as she sunbathed in the nude. I got high up enough to get a good view, but because I was invisible and my depth perception was messed up, I underestimated the height which I could levitate and I ended up banging my head on a tree limb. I then fell to the ground. As you all know, sudden shocks like that to the body will make your invisibility wear off. Imagine my embarrasment when my neighbor saw me lying there naked on the ground. I was mortified (and she wasn't real happy either!) This is a great book but it would have been better if it covered everyday situations like that.

Ill teach You Right Now,

This book is a history lesson or "evidence" text mostly. The few vague techniques are thrown in the gumbo. I read the whole book. It was OK. Not really informative though. I can give you the instructional part of the book in condensed form.
The text tell you that you have to see auras first to become invisible. I have no idea why, but OK. He says go in a completely dark room, and stare at your hand until you see an envelope of light. (For more on auras, "Auras, See Them In Just 60 Seconds") Any way, the text goes on to say sit, meditate, and invision a cloud pouring out your mouth and enveloping your body until it is completely covered in this mist. As long as you stay still, no one will see you. I don't get it. I find the curtain techniques easier, and if you don't turn invisible, it's still a relaxing security measure during meditation. You invision a curtain around you, obscuring the view of others looking at you. Whatever. Oh, and if there is a secret to this book, an encryption or something, I don't see it. But to give the book some reread value...Ill check it out. Oh, for all you magick dabblers... Black magick books almost always have "invisible" sections

This book is excellent for those of you out there that are not even on stage one of experimentation. This will give you great insight into the topics of levatation and invisibility but personally it did nothing for myself but i have advanced in other fields such as telekinesis and basic energy manipulation. This are easy tasks but strenous on my mind.
If you want to start on the absolute beginners level then buy this book because it will give you some history of what you hope to accomplish. But this book is no match alone you need the internet because there are questions that come up throughout the book that need to be answered so go on yahoo or google and find it out. Also if you want to learn other feats such as telekinesis go on ebay and search "telekinesis" then find a mind energy wheel or psi wheel and use it. They will help a great deal. For invisibility i don't recommend any tailismans because they have yet to work for me. And well levetation must be hard because i struggle to move a pencil across a table with my mind which means i can't even imagine how hard it is to levatate. REMEMBER IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS ABILITIES YOU MUST LEARN HOW TO MEDITATE IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU ARE FOCUSED ON YOUR TASK!!!!!! |
