grounding, empowering, energizing!,
By
This review is from: Invisible Blueprints: Intuitive Insights for Fulfillment in Life (Paperback)
Whether you are just starting on your personal unfolding journey, wondering about the validity and significance of those gut feelings of yours, or working actively in the healing community, this book will leave you feeling better informed, clear-headed, grounded, empowered, inspired and confident that fulfillment is not a naively optimistic myth after all. Through a richly textured combination of the personal insights she has acquired through years of practice as an energy reader and intuitive counselor, a wealth of recent scientific findings on so-called psychic phenomena and faculties, and numerous pointed references to like-minded thinkers (the explicitly spiritually inclined and the more obviously rational alike), Brandon succeeds in putting intuition and intuitive phenomena into a meaningful, understandable framework. She thus gives us a whole other way of looking at the work of a psychic, by diluting our preconceptions about it and challenging us to question our own preconceived ideas and mindsets--about that and a wealth of other questions, including some fundamental philosophical problems, such as those concerning the meaning of life (we're here to learn and grow), the significance of death (she believes in reincarnation, since we're here to experience the totality of what is and enrich our soul), or the nature of consciousness (a multi-dimensional and layered spectrum of energy). While the book is filled with good practical advice and insights (for instance, on relationships, on surrender, on knowledge) it is not a "how to" book. Much more important than that! It not only gives you the means to embark on the journey: it convinces you, deeply, that you want to choose to grow, not out of some moral duty, but simply because the adventure is really worth it. One of the reasons why Brandon is so convincing is because she strikes a very subtle and all too rare balance: she's at once compassionate and never sappy; she cultivates a sense of wonder at the creative nature of the universe but does not sound naively mystical; she clears up many superficial misunderstandings about "new-age" and "positive thinking" concepts (such as "manifesting", "detachment" or "flow"); she always reminds us to use common sense while pushing the limits of our knowledge and of ourselves; she warns us against the potential pitfalls of conscious living (like using spirituality to deny our human and emotional side so as to permanently escape from the demands of our concrete, embodied, social and professional life). In short, she is careful to honor both our human persona and struggles and our spiritual yearnings and exceptional abilities. Unlike many "such books" (by which I mean the cornucopia of self-help and spiritual growth books), Invisible Blueprints never condescendingly strikes you with "great truths" for you to sheepishly swallow out of blind faith in the spiritual authority of their authors. Brandon never tries to WOW you with her extraordinary gift. On the contrary, she skillfully works at demystifying it with great generosity. Her aim is to facilitate the growth processes in others, not to exert control or induce dependence. Invisible Blueprints is the work of a true healer. It makes a great case for trusting the process of life, in both its mundane and its lofty aspects. Since the reason why we're here is to learn and grow, everything becomes an opportunity for clearing our inauthentic stuff and nudging us toward embracing our true essence. I highly recommend it to anyone striving for fulfillment.

Personally Rewarding Experience,
By
This review is from: Invisible Blueprints: Intuitive Insights for Fulfillment in Life (Paperback)
"Invisible Blueprints" is very well written, thought provoking and enjoyable to read. As you read this wonderful book you will say "oh yeah, I remember when that happended to me, so that's intutition." Ms. Brandon gives many clear examples that will get you thinking of your own past experiencs.
We could all benefit from her insights regarding relationship types and soul mates as to why we form some relationships and about some "stuff" that may be blocking us from a more fulfilling relationship. I particularly enjoyed reading about relationships with departed loves ones including our beloved pets and felt great comfort from her words. I personally was very moved by the information Ms. Brandon conveyed on personal growth and how to achieve personal empowerment. She brought out the importance of going within ourselves to find our inner core and various methods to achive this. I highly recommend "Invisible Blueprints". It will become a favorite of yours as it has become a favorite of mine.

Diane Brandon brings such clarity to many things I have sensed and felt intuitively, but could not explain! This book is very insightful and elegantly written. If you are a seeker of truth and balance this a "must read" as it will definitely help you along your path by invoking you, not only, to deep thoughts, but also to deeper feeling. Thus helping light the way to wholeness of body, mind and spirit. It is a book you will find yourself reading over and over many times!

Diane Brandon takes a rational look at the concept of Intuition... and then some. This book fascinates me. All my life I have had "intuitive" feelings. This book gave me some insight as to what may be causing those feelings.
Diane Brandon has an intelligent, interesting writing style that is never tiring. An easy enjoyable read.

By avid book reader (Washington DC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Invisible Blueprints: Intuitive Insights for Fulfillment in Life (Paperback)
This is a fascinating study in one person's journey to develop her intutition. The book is packed with information on energy, readings, intuition as experienced and understood by the author as well as how those experiences have influenced her and the ways in which she gained understanding. If you have ever been interested in better understanding those connections that seem to happen coincidentally or how energys interplay in the world or just wanting to know how a reading is experienced by the author, then this book is a must-read.
