2.0 out of 5 stars Over-priced!
The DVD itself was well worth the view! What I wish I had known before I purchased the DVD was that if you went directly to the Invisible Children website, the cost would have been half as much. I paid $18.00, plus $2.98 shipping. The website sells the DVD for $10.00--plus the proceeds benefit the children. Wish I had known!

5.0 out of 5 stars This documentary changed my life, April 12, 2010
This review is from: Invisible Children: Discover the Unseen (DVD)
I saw this documentary five years ago when I was still in high school. After I saw it, I felt so moved by all that's happening in the world that I decided to join the Peace Corps. This documentary inspired me to help change the world in some way using the gifts God gave me. I am going to Malawi, Africa in July 2010 to be an English teacher for two years, and this documentary was what started my journey. I recommend this documentary to anyone who has ever felt powerless and wants to do anything to help those who truly need it in the world.

4.0 out of 5 stars A incredible documentary, December 3, 2009
This review is from: Invisible Children: Discover the Unseen (DVD)
The documentary, Invisible Children, is about the genocide currently going on in Sudan and Uganda. The film documents three young college students from the United States who go to Africa in order to witness the conflict between the army, the rebels and citizens. The twenty yearlong war between the government and the LRA (Lords Resistance Army), has resulted in the deaths of 2 million people and the displacement of 5 million. The film itself is an informational and mind-blowing account of this tragic event. The film made me feel spoiled but also grateful for what I have. It makes you want to take action and volunteer for the cause to save Uganda and Sudan. I would recommend this film to anyone interested in human rights issues.

This is a powerful portrayal of the injustice going on in Uganda. One cannot help but be moved to speak of the travesty that has befallen the youth of this country. We must do all we can to work for peace and stop the conflict between the government and the rebels
