Wonderfully original acid jazz. Mr. Bush explores a region of musical space - every track an authentic expression and integral part of the whole, very nicely done. Melodic, rhythmic, but "out there." It is extremely refreshing to find a recording like this.

Invisible City comes on strong at first but contains a range of performances that leave the listener wanting more. With a moody fever that shrouds the albums entirety, the album contains a live wire performance by Andre Bush on guitar. Who at times is very rockish with his guitar playing. But his versatilities as a guitarist are heard throughout the album.

His compositions are both subtle but alive and reveal an astonishing and innovative approach to jazz. The constant interplay between the musicians and their solos sound fantastic to the ear. Particularly in track six (stations) there is an interesting guitar verse sax competition that is heard, with a very fusion sound to it. It creates a great amount of anticipation that leaves you wanting more.

This album provides an array of urban inspired sounds, with odd metered times and wonderful harmonies. Its jazz, rock and R&B inspired sounds provide the listener with an exciting experience that is defiantly worth a listen.

This CD is an absolute must-have for jazz/fusion music fans. Mr. Bush is the embodiment of power on guitar when necessary, yet absolutely able to calm troubled waters in the next moment. Stations, (6), is my most favorite track, but I could listen to any/all tracks over and over, as there is always something new to be discovered with each listen. Wonderful! Looking forward to the next recording!!

Jazzreview.com named this CD as the CD of the Year. I couldn't agree more. Jack Perla, who plays piano on the CD is brilliant. Steve Smith, who formerly played with Journey(!) is also outstanding! Bush is a very gifted guitar player.

This jazz musician is absolutely amazing. He is by far the most talented jazz guitarist I've heard in a very, very long time. I would recommend this CD to anyone with a love of true jazz.
