INVISIBLE REIGN...RULES!!!, January 31, 2011
Where has this group been hiding? Unbelievable melodic, progressive metal right here. Can easily be grouped with some of the finest prog out there and from years past up to today's finest. Not as heavy as Pagan's Mind but just as melodic and powerful, Not as progressive as Dream theater but more than enough twists and turns in the music to keep you drawn in.
Starting with the singer who has an incredible range especially on the opening track, Invisible Reign. This song is just amazing!!! Soaring vocals and warm melodies through out. This guy sings with a passion in his voice, truly missed in a lot of progressive music today. Seamless key changes and ripping rhythm guitars on this track. Just listen to the vocal harmonies and now you'll get the picture of what the rest of the CD sounds like. The lyrics are some of the best I've come across in years.
Favorite tracks include STORYTELLER, UNMISTAKEABLE VIEW, HELLS PLAYGROUND, GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME and RAGE (A World That's Changing)
