I didn't like Invisible Stanley because it didn't have enough action or character's thoughts and feelings. Flat Stanley is much better than Invisible Stanley.I like how Stanley gets flat by a bulletin board.

One of the most memorable books that was ever read to me as a child was Flat Stanley. While searching for this book 24 years later I disovered Invisible Stanley. Invisible Stanley serves up the same type of fun with its title character discovering the ups and downs of being different while learning important lessons along the way; lessons such as teamwork, honesty, compassion, and the importance of family. And even though Harry is invisible for a time the illustrations allow kids to see Harry nontheless. Before Harry Potter ever thrilled the masses Stanley Lambchop thrilled one little boy, and 24 years later he's done it again as Invisible Stanley. This book is great for kids of all ages but especially for those who aren't quite old enough for Harry Potter. A great bedtime story to read to your kids.

4.0 out of 5 stars Child's review, June 28, 2010
This review is from: Invisible Stanley (Paperback)
Stanley was hungry at night so he got out of bed and ate raisins besides the window while there had been a storm outside. He was still hungry so he ate an apple then he said "I am not hungry now." Stanley felt sort of wierd then he turned invisible.

The best bit was when Stanley got back to normal because he was happy again.

When Mrs Lampchop, Mr Lambchop, Arthur and Stanley went to Dr Dan he could not explain what was wrong with Stanley.

This book is worth reading because it is fun and Stanley is a very clever boy.

My 8 year old loved this book, its hard to find things to intrest her.
She has to read 300-600 pages a month for 3rd grade and we run out of
"fun" books. She read this one with no nagging! I got flat stanley for her too.

Would you like to be invisible and get shot? You will like this book, I did. I like this book because Stanly helps Arthur. He helps a little boy on a bicycle too. You will have a lot of fun going through the pages that Jeff Brown wrote. Stanley and Arthur always help each other. When you read this book, the author is telling you some thing, find out. Will Stanley be invisible forever? Find out in the book Invisible Stanley. The adventures are waiting to be discovered.
