5.0 out of 5 stars Invisible Underwear, Bus Stop Mommies and Other Things True
Cool Book! It is awesome to read stories that about things that have happened to most mom's and see such a funny and new way of looking at situations. It is a fun read that gets the mind turning. Sit down with a cup of coffee and see yourself or the person you would hope to be in Karen's stories.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed...
I had expected much more, so perhaps the problem was that I had great expectations. I grew tired of the stories and sometimes felt that the author was whining -- we all have days like that -- but I grew weary of the style. With the comparisons to Erma Bombeck I was expecting more. The author is no Erma Bombeck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Karen speaks the truth -- and it's funny!, April 27, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Invisible Underwear, Bus Stop Mommies and Other Things True To Life (Paperback)
Karen Rinehart combines a sense of humor with common sense to write charming stories that reflect what's "True to Life" for all of us. Her wit is keen, her style is familiar, and she tells stories that could come from her reader's experiences as well as her own. I'm betting she's the Mommy at the Bus Stop all the others can't wait to see every morning. Buy this book and enjoy! You can thank me later.

5.0 out of 5 stars HYSTERICAL!, April 27, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Invisible Underwear, Bus Stop Mommies and Other Things True To Life (Paperback)
This book reminds me of life in my house. It is so true and so funny. My mom read it first and said it was okay for me to read. (...) These stories sound just like stuff that happens every day in my life..but funnier! The dog is funny too.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love This Book!!!, April 2, 2004

I bought this for my better half and she loves it. Funny, witty and just a good read, you should get this book.

Short chapters keep it moving and she picks it up when a break is needed from the troubles of the day. But it's good anytime.

A definite BUY for Mother's Day! You will not be sorry.

Karen finds the comical in all aspects of life. I haven't enjoyed a book like this in quite a while. She reminds me of Erma Bombeck only a bit more realistic about how she feels about things, this struck a cord with me because I've been there.

5.0 out of 5 stars IF YOU HAVE NOT BOUGHT THIS BOOK, WHY NOT????, March 1, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Invisible Underwear, Bus Stop Mommies and Other Things True To Life (Paperback)
Karen Rinehart is an awesome writer! Yeah, yeah, so she IS my mom, but she and Erma Bombeck would have made SUPER friends if they met. Even though I've read some of her stuff a thousand times (no kidding!), I still laugh my head off and almost have to force myself to read becuase I'm laughing so hard! Anyone who does not like my mom's book is insane, I tell you, insane! Don't believe anything she says about me, though. It was my brother.
