Book Description

August 10, 2006
THE INVISIBLE WOMAN, a murder mystery novel, weaves a haunting tale of the clash of race, class, and bias in news coverage and police searches. Heather Winston: young, pretty, blonde, and white. Sheleika Johnson: young, pretty, and black. Both found murdered in Baltimore. Heather garners massive media coverage and searches. Sheleika receives neither. But, the shocking revelation is what these women shared in common. Krista Madison, a young white television investigative reporter, exposes the low-down dirty truth that ignites the second great social fire in Baltimore City. At considerable danger to her own life and career, this daring media hotshot reports the twists and turns of two bizarre murders. Forensics. An FBI manhunt. Dramatic standoffs. One of the most diabolic villains in fictional history. Experience them all. In the end, THE INVISIBLE WOMAN depicts the triumph of those who fight for truth and justice at all costs.

5.0 out of 5 stars BRAVO!, October 21, 2006
This review is from: The Invisible Woman: White Media Darling vs. Black Forgotten Victim (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book so much that I didn't want it to end. Although this book tells a story, Dee Wright touches upon an issue that some of us have been thinking for many years but not brave enough to tackle. Hats off to Ms Wright for being a voice for the forgotten black victim!
