Considering this was a textbook for me, and probably will be for most buyers, I did not find it of the high standards most textbooks are. I have found some errors in it too. More than once there is "see page *** " in the book. Did the editors of the book not go over this book enough times to have these errors?
But on the good side, the book is also a good compilation of information. Too much information. But for college students that might be a plus. It makes 18 and 19 year olds aware of a lot of health issues, from drugs, alcohol, contraception, etc. etc. the list goes on. In each of the chapteres, dealing with these topics there is a special section geared for college kids. There are also statistics for college kids, and on campus serveys.
So overall, I will give this book 3 and half stars. The author is dealing with a lot of material, and she does a good job of presenting it. Its not her fault that this is a very vast subject, and in order to fit it in some book she has to pack a lot of facts in every sentence. (Translated as Dry).

The book came in excellent condition, shrink wrapped and without much noticeable damage. It came quickly and well before I needed it for class.

I ordered this text book for my son for his college classes. He found the text book to be very useful.

this is one of the most comprehensive health books I have ever read. It is a easy read and comes with lots of other resources. for additional information.

Needed the book for continuing my education, and it seems so far to be interesting enough, although I haven't had much time to dig into it. It does have some interesting self-exams that spur the individual into digging deeper into their own health related habits (good and bad), and learn to modify their behavior.

good way to save a couple of bucks over buying the newest version of the book. Very similar to the current version.

Fast service only negative is the book had dried food on cover, would be nice if books where checked and at least wiped off, I ASSUME its food and hopefully not bodily fluids.
