I've just started using this book, and the reflections are very much to the point. Rupp's style of writing gives one much food for thought. It's simple, yet profound, brief (one page) but with enough wisdom to last and reflect on for the entire day. Each reflection really DOES invite God in!

Joyce Rupp continues to provide down to earth yet challenging spiritual nourishment to her readers. As with "May I Have This Dance", "Inviting God In" has excellent, brief readings for each season of the year. Our women's covenant group often uses her books for study and spiritual direction.

Joyce Rupp is one after my own heart. Her daily devotionals on Bible verses are so helpful, and I'm looking forward to using the book throughout the year because it's divided into sections to correspond with the church year. Although she is a Roman Catholic nun, her writings are what I would call ecumenical, based upon the Bible.

This book is inspiring and helpful to all who are seekers of God.Great book for Lent.

It's so easy to get surrounded by the chaos of everyday life and forget that God is always there, waiting to be let in. Inviting God In is a thoughtful and recommended spiritual reminder to carry worship and love in one's heart.
