Definitely the best work of cEvin kEy post puppy. These are the sounds that occur in your mind when you have no one to talk to while wondering through the vacant landscape of some dystopian reality at dusk.

one of the best recordings from cevin key,

i've been listening to sounds by cevin key for a long time now. nothing beats involution. the cold dark melodies layered by synths and drum effects. makes you want to go on some sci fi mission impossible, all in your head. this recording is definetly a mind trip far away from reality. good for the house, driving, or walking through the trees in the forest. if you are a cevin key fan, i recommend picking up involution for your collection.

This is a fantastic album! The drum programming is really creative, yet simple and the percussion is always modulating in the mix. Lots of interesting sound design found layered in each track - bubbling textures, resonant metallic clanging, space-age cars passing by, etc. It's all very analog but sounds fresh and inspiring. Simple, often fragmented melodies add a nice contrast to the percolating rhythms. I think this album was first released in 1998, not 2006 as stated here, but it doesn't matter.
