The music flows seamlessly from melody to melody, mood to mood, track to track.
Joey
Anyone that has listened to his productions and compilations can attest that they have all been classic albums.
F. Burgos
It is well mixed, but just too many vocal tracks of mediocre singing for my enjoyment.

I don't know what some these other reviewers are talking about. This new entry is amazing & see's Sasha returning to form. If you're looking for the drab minimal stuff he'd been putting out over the last couple years (EM Fire) you'll be disappointed. This is the same lush soundscape you'd be accustomed to if you've been following him previously. From the 1st track you're hooked, everyone out there considering this purchase really owes it to themselves to fork over the dough & tune in, it's an amazing experience for. Start to finish

This disc is one I play from start to finish uninterrupted. It flows beautifully, masterfully mixed. Enjoy. Sasha does it one more time.

This is well worth the listen to. I have been into EDM since the mid 90's and Sasha has always been a main staple in my collection. Anyone that has listened to his productions and compilations can attest that they have all been classic albums. I still go back and listen to most of his work on a regular basis and still get chills when listing to them, this album to me is NO different. Every track on this album is great, I find myself listing to this over and over again and when I am not listening to I have the music playing in my head.

I purchased the Invol3er a couple of weeks ago on Amazon and received the digital copies which included the original mixed comp, the beatless comp and the unmixed version of the album. For the price you can't really beat it. I started off by listening to the regular version a couple of times in my headphones at the gym as I normally do and thought it was a proper mix but didn't really blow me away at first. This is typical when listening to this type of production for me because there is so much going on that some of it is so subtle that it takes many listens to really appreciate it. That is the hardest part about sharing this type of music with family and friends.

Anyhow two weeks later I decide to play Beatless mix at a dinner party we had for the first time. It was perfect for the setting and I knew I was the only one that was really listening and enjoying but I didn't care because no one was complaining or requesting their choice of artist or tune. Anytime I can get away with playing EDM and get away with I will. I've listened to the Beatless mix various times since then. Some of the tracks sound just as good if not better in the beatless mix as they do on the mixed version of the record.

Sasha has blown my socks off with this uplifting and chilling masterpiece of an album. For fans of his minimal work, this album notably favors a progressive trance-like feel (many of the tracks have perfectly placed vocals) while beautifully incorporating his traditional minimal, intense sounds. A must buy for those who enjoy Sasha's production work.

I can see what Sasha was going for, I just didn't like it that much, although it has its moments. This mix is highly dependent on the vocals, perhaps to serve as an entrance for the general public into understanding progressive house because most of the vocals sound very pop-ish.

When I saw that the Little Dragon - Crystalfilm track was going to be on the mix, I was excited, then I heard what Sasha did to the song, he just made a slightly more boring version of the track. He added nothing of substance to the original mix. In fact, it sounds like he just used the glitch vst on the vocals. In any case, the glitchy vocal effects sounded very lazy and random.

Anyway, lots of good tracks, but the mix as a whole stays in the same territory for too long, simple muted bassline rhythm, some ping pong delay and reverb on the vocals with maybe some glitchy effects added. Keep it interesting, Sasha.

Some of the star tracks on this mix are, ThermalBear (Feat Arrows Down) - Turn The Tide (Sasha Involv3r Remix), Benjamin Damage & Doc Daneeka (Feat Abigail Wyles) - Battleships (Sasha Involv3r Remix), James Zabiela - The Healing (Sasha Involv3r Remix), and Ananda Project - Moment Before Dreaming (Sasha Involv3r Remix) .

this is one of the best electronic albums of 2013. Most of the young kids have no clue how Sasha use to rip twilo(NYC)apart.

Glad I can put this on in my apartment!

As a standard, generic-prog DJ mix, this isn't half bad... But as the 3rd (and final) release of the `Involver' series, this Sasha album/DJ mix comp fails miserably...

As others have noted, the mix levels are questionable at best and a couple of the mix transitions are more than a bit dubious, considering `The Man Like' was at the helm. Charlie May was absent from these `Involver' sessions and it shows. There are too many commercial/mainstream vocals and not enough dense, lush soundscapes found on the series first two volumes.

Sasha stated prior to the album's release that it would sound closer to the 1st `Involver...' Did he chuck that idea at the last minute, because this CD sounds nothing like the inaugural `Involver' or the second one, for that matter. I was expecting some wholly different from that which was ultimately rendered...

Agree the transitions aren't the best but then again the music on this album doesn't lend itself to flawless mixing. I like the fact it's a bit rough at points as it highlights the fact that this is an album about an artist not just a DJ. In my opinion the tracks individually are amazing, good mix of deep melancholy vocals and melodic bass. Every tune for me stands out, who wants more of the same ? Something different for me please every time. If Sasha keeps doing the same as he's always done he wouldn't be the pioneering DJ he's always been. I love the Involver series shame it has to come to an end. To all the soul suckers who have posted negative comments - Ironic how the best track on the album is called SHOOT YOU DOWN, crack on Sasha I will be listening - peace x
