Celentano's Art, September 9, 2000
Celentano has been one of my favoirtes for a long time. I used to listen to him a lot in Kiev in the 1980s. I've got to say that listening to this album, it is very hard to believe that it is sung and written by a man in his 60s. And yet it is true! Celentano's voice is virtually unchanged since the days of his youth. He is one of the few Italian pop artist who managed to take his craft beyond the borders of his native country with so much success. He has been popular in Eastern Europe and the now former Soviet Union for a very long time. Celentano is also a very famous actor, who starred in countless movies. If I had to pick a favorite song on this album, it would be the title track, "Io non so parlar d'amore." But all songs are good. Continental European music tastes have always been different from those in Great Britain and North America. The former has viewd music and its performance more of an art than business or a means for young men to get girls. Celentano, who lives with his family in Milan, is an illustrious representative of the Continetal European approach.

One more time, the number one, January 4, 2000
Celentano in Italy is a star for 40 years, he's an actor, recently he had a great success with a tv show, but above all he's the most famous italian voice. This work follows the duet album with Mina, another legend of italian music, that went out after a long absence from tv and this album has sold more than one million copies too. But it's not in his past and in all songs that signed last 40 years that is the reason to buy this record. Celentano's voice betters in time, and even if he remains faithful to his style, there's always elements of modernity in his songs. With the help of Gianni Bella and above all of Mogol, the author of the lyrics of Lucio Battisti, Celentano gives form to great love songs, and above all to "L'arcobaleno", dedicated from Mogol to Battisti, one of the most beautiful songs of last years, but also "Angel", "L'emozione non ha voce" and "Gelosia" enter in the best production of Celentano. "the rainbow is my message of love maybe one day I could touch you with colours we can cancel the most evident and waste bleakness" "L'arcobaleno", my translation

Musical Perfection, June 2, 2000
This is a top notch album by a top notch artist. Celentano is one of the best voices in the world. If you don't know that please listen to his work and find out. This album contains some terrific music ranging from ballads to all out rockers. The production is absolutely exquisite. The recording, arrangements and overall musicianship are the best I've heard in a long time. The CD has everything: great hooks, wonderful melodies, awesome guitar riffs, pounding drums, cool piano, pulsating bass... and did I mention that Celentano is one of the greatest singers in the world doing some of his best singing right here? Forget Billy, Elton and Bruce. Get this CD.
