1.0 out of 5 stars Don't believe IOGEAR, September 6, 2005
This review is from: Iogear BLUETOOTH COMBO PRINTER ADAPTER ( GBP301 ) (Personal Computers)
I recently purchased the GBP301 because of information on IOGEAR's website that this print adapter would work on "any windows machine" or "any Bluetooth enabled device"; however, nothing could be further from the truth.

If you are using pre-dos equipment then maybe this adapter will work for you. However, any computer that has built in Bluetooth or is using Microsoft software as their Bluetooth monitor then you can forget about this product working. Even though IOGEAR claims it will work it does not.

I tried using two laptops on a G4 PowerBook and a Tecra M4 Tablet. Unfortunately both have Bluetooth built in and I could not get the adapter to print.

If you are using an external USB bluetooth adapter with Broadcom software then maybe it will work. It just did not work for me and now I am stuck with a new shinny door stopper.

Exact same problem as previous reviewer. Tried using with a Canon IP3000 printer and three different new Dell laptops with built-in Bluetooth as well as a 2.2MHZ desktop utilizing a 2.0 BT dongle. I'd have been better off using a rock with a USB printer cable taped to it. It would have been $70 cheaper, uses no electricity and I'd have the exact same results!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Stay away! Do not buy this product!, June 7, 2006
This review is from: Iogear BLUETOOTH COMBO PRINTER ADAPTER ( GBP301 ) (Personal Computers)
I've had this driver for about a year and it worked most of the time (not always, but most of the time). Then one day I needed to reinstall my bluetooth drivers and it stopped working. Later I purchased a new bluetooth dongle and it still didn't work. I called technical support, and they told me that they have not tested it with new bluetooth dongles and that there is nothing they can do about it. So basically i am stuck with this useless product that is supposed to be bluetooth compatible, but only to the ones that IOgear tested. Never going to buy another IOGear product.

I got it to work with an old HP Deskjet 450 for a couple of print jobs then it quit working. Switched to HP Deskjet D1320, no joy. Don't waist you time and money!

1.0 out of 5 stars It's the only one in the mkt which commits suicide, May 24, 2007
This review is from: Iogear BLUETOOTH COMBO PRINTER ADAPTER ( GBP301 ) (Personal Computers)
Had it for about 6 months...Worked with restrictions...Large prints would cause the printer to stall...Then, one day, it suddenly died...and without saying goodbye...Not a good buy at all...
