5.0 out of 5 stars Economical Alternative To Storing Pictures, February 17, 2001

This review is from: Iomega 40 MB PocketZip Disk (4 Pack) (Electronics)
Instead of using Memory "cards" or "sticks which costs between $40.00 to $60.00 which offers only 32MB of storage, an Iomega Pocketzip (Clik) gives you 40MB with a quarter of the cost. Although you will need an Iomega Clik 40MB PC Card Drive (PCMCIA sized), but you can store data too. Just slip an Iomega Pocketzip 40MB Disk into the PC Card drive and slide it into your laptop, connect your digital camera to your laptop, that's it. You've got storage and management of your pictures on the road. Not to mention you still can use it for data storage. (br4ins@yahoo.com)

5.0 out of 5 stars Portable storage I can afford!, March 15, 2001

This review is from: Iomega 40 MB PocketZip Disk (4 Pack) (Electronics)
These little disks are prefect... with flash memory I would be stuck with one or maybe two memory cards, but instead I have 12 pocketzip disks (480 MB) to store music on for my hipzip player! The disks only cost around seven dollars in a ten pack. (I know the retail is higher, but you can find ten-packs for around 70 bucks) Although the disks look fairly fragile, mine have withstood many minor drops without the case, and with the case on they are practically indestructible. I even threw mine at a brick wall (in its case) as hard as I could... and it bounced back to me.. then put it in my player and it worked without a hitch. :)

These are great little things to have around for other files, too... since you can use the hipzip as a drive... I use one of my disks as a data disk. (although you can have music files mixed with other filetypes and the player will just ignore the nonmusic files, I like having a single disk were I know all the other stuff is.)

Anyway, I guess that's it... these are great things to have around, and you won't break the bank buying them!
