The IDP01 Drum Pad Extension Kit is sold in packages of two with all mounting hardware included--simply mount, plug into your drum module's remaining jacks, and you're set.
Like those included with the iED01, these rubber drum pads have a natural feel, and Velocity sensitivity accurately responds to quieter and louder playing with corresponding changes in volume.

These Drums Are Great,
This review is from: Ion IDP01 Drum Pad Extension Kit (Electronics)
These Ion-Audio drum sets are wonderful. I can't believe all of the bad reviews I've seen on them. These drum pads are just like the one's that come with the complete sets (except for the rocker kit). They came with the mounts, and needed cables. I love these drums!

The first (main set) of these died shortly after purchasing it. Decided to give it another chance a couple of months later. You can't have more fun for $200.! Adding these two extra pads rounded the set out and gave me a low tom and ride cymbal. While not of professional caliber,a closet drummer like myself can have a lot of fun! The "brain" is made by Alesis and is very similar to their best selling SR-16.

I got these for a set of Alesis drums since they're the exact same pad. (Alesis and Ion Audio are owned by the same person.) The only downside if not using with the ION Audio set specified is that the mounts are for it and so are the cables. So if you've got something like an original DM5, you'd need a 1/8" to 1/4" cable or an adapter, and a clamp to fit a rack with 1 1/2" tubing. If you're replacing old pads or have extra clamps (or can repurpose)some, and have any 1/8" to 1/4" headphone adapters, neither is a problem.
Although the pads could be considered a little small compared to a real drum or cymbal, that's just what they are. If you need some of these, you probably already know that though. These pads work great and take a lot of abuse, just like you'd hope.
