5.0 out of 5 stars I'm an LPN- Great Product!
Education is the key. Ionic cell treatments should never be taken lightly. These are are not simple "Plug-n-Play" devices. Precise electrolyte solution is necessary....Cleansing is necessary.... Adding Celtic salts is a safer healthier alternative because of the broader amounts of natural electrolytes. Start off slow, and build from there. Don't jump in with "Both Feet"...

2.0 out of 5 stars Semi-Disappointed
I think the product would be fine, however it is used and I thought I was buying a new machine. One of the arrays out of the 4 isn't working and one of the wristbands isn't working properly. Also one of the other arrays is dirty. I cannot figure out how to contact the seller and not much info on the manufacturer. The one instruction sheet is very vague and doesn't fully...

Don't jump in with "Both Feet" so to speak. If you get a huge amount of discolored material in the first 5 minutes cut it shorter than 30 minutes for the first treatment. If your wrist itches or burns under the wrist-band move it around or change wrists. My wife and I have had great results. Before starting these treatments I had severe foot pain, redness, diabetic neuropathy, faciaitis, & arthritis. My legs were covered with liver spots like some of my 75 year old patients with vascular problems, and I walked like one of them. After a few treatments, almost no foot pain, liver spots gone and my feet are pink and healthy looking. Before my first treatmwent I was having severe allergies. The cleared up immediately. Coincidence? Maybe....but I'll take what I can get.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased. Shipped fast, worked as advertised, easy to use, July 4, 2010
This review is from: New Chi Ionic Ion Detox Foot Bath Aqua Spa Cleanse Machine (Health and Beauty)
I first learned of ion cleansing from my Doctor. Before having an ion cleanse session he took me through a process of detoxification using herbs, some accupuncture, and modifications to my diet. This behind me, I proceeded with four or five ion cleanse sessions over a period of roughly 2 years. In line with a desire to improve overall health and wellness, I decided to include periodic ion cleanses to my regime. A friend suggested the ION CELL SPA, Chi Ionic Detox Foot Bath Aqua Spa Cleanse Machine. I read mixed reviews regarding ion cleanse machines in general and went ahead and purchased it. Megawholesalers shipped my Ion Cleanse the day after I ordered it(faster than expected). The new machine arrived in perfect working order. I used it and noticed results right away with the first 30 minute session. Then I thought, if once a week is good, then three days in a row should be great. Right? WRONG! Made me wonder about people on the internet writing that Ion Cleanse machines do nothing. If it does nothing, then how could overuse cause a reaction? Well, the next day I was fine. A month later, I was with two scientists and two nutritionists. I brought up the Ion Cleanse. They raved about it. I asked why overuse caused a reaction. In short, they had explained it is healthy to use, but overuse depleats the body of necessary ions. So, I was to enjoy it, but not daily. I am glad I purchased mine and plan to use it 2x a week for a few months, then once a month, changing the electrodes after 20-25 sessions. I was pleasantly surprised with this whole experience.

I had absolutely no problems with this transaction. The shipping was exactly as described, the product new and working well. You have to get the balance right with the salt...(add it very very slowly-less than a pinch at a time) once you work this out everything works perfectly. I would recommend this seller and ignore the sceptics.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good so far, November 13, 2010

I learned about the detox foot spa concept from a friend of mine - a new-agey type and believer in the concept. I had been experiencing steady weight gain (particularly in the belly), along with fatigue and depression. Noticing that these treatments ran from 30-60 dollars in spas, I decided to go ahead and buy this unit for a seemingly reasonable 150.

I have used this unit about four times a week for almost a month now. Doing this scientifically, with no other notable changes to my lifestyle, I have noticed a modest but consistent decrease in my belly size - I no longer feel uncomfortably heavy, just on the higher range of comfortable.

It is possible that some of the weight lost is simply water weight; I do notice that the water level rises slightly during usage. But I can tell the difference between water weight and fat, and there has certainly been fat lost as well.

I am inclined to believe that this machine is working for two reasons: First, I have been taught that one of the main functions of fat in the body is to provide a place to store toxins. Therefore, if the level of toxicity in the body decreases, the body is free to release some of the fat. I have seen that happen. Secondly, in the waste water left over after usage, I observe not only brown flecks (which I believe are primarily the result of electrolysis, as the skeptics insist) but something more: foaminess and strings of mucus. If it were only brown flecks, I would be skeptical myself, but I recognize the foaminess and mucus as being distinctly organic, and I am positive that they have come from my own body. I sometimes see such things in my own bowel movements.

I would like to suggest that perhaps BOTH the skeptics and the believers are right to some extent. True, most of what ends up in the water is simply rust. But there is usually something more in the water that must be coming from your body. And considering that heavy metals and such are very toxic in small amounts, maybe there are things coming out of you in small amounts that are very important.

My weight loss has more or less leveled off, and there are certainly other things that I must do to reach my goal (address inflammation and yeast, colon cleansing, for example), I have found the foot spa to be a pretty good value. Certainly do not spend more than $150 on one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better written instructions would be wonderful, November 17, 2009

The foot bath looks great in its case and everything looks OK. It seems to me that visual instructions (diagram) and better written verbal instructions are needed. After reading the enclosed pamphlet more than once, I still was not quite certain if I was properly using the machine. I have used it on it default setting and not sure how to switch to the negative charge. There is no explanation of why you would need to switch to a negative charge. I had someone more versed in science tell me that the negative charge is the one that pulls the heavy metals. I assume they were correct.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ionic cleanse is great to pull pollutants out of your body!, May 20, 2008
This review is from: New Chi Ionic Ion Detox Foot Bath Aqua Spa Cleanse Machine (Health and Beauty)
I used a friend's ionic cleanse several times, and it really pulls a lot of "gunk" out of my body - very impressive. The first time my friend used it, she'd been suffering from intestinal upset for over a week after a trip to Cabo San Lucas, as well as 6 of 7 of her traveling companions. She felt like there was something in her intestines, like parasites. Sure enough, a bunch of little clusters of black worms were in the water by the end of the 30 minutes! She felt better immediately! That is a testimony to how effective and worthwhile this product really is - it is a blessing in this environmentally corrupt food, water and air supply we live in today. I really believe it can clean our cells and prevent and reverse aging that happens due to all the toxins we ingest! Stella

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Results - I can't believe I almost bought a more expensive model!, January 2, 2011

I looked at several types of model by varous manufactures and I finally decided to try this very economical kit. The results are everything I hoped for and the instructions, although somewhat cryptic, were just fine (I don't think you mess up). I've used various foot baths (more expensive models) before and my results with this model are every bit, if not better. I am very happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than Expected, December 29, 2008
This review is from: New Chi Ionic Ion Detox Foot Bath Aqua Spa Cleanse Machine (Health and Beauty)
I was pritty sure I'd see a change in the water color, however not only did we see a change in the water. We saw actual particals floting in the water (Orange in Color). I had to keep telling my wife not to look at it becouse she kept on wanting to change the water, she was so grossed out. Needless to say, I bought 2 for Christmas Presents, everyone had and saw the same reaction. I'd never be one to put my feet in water, untill I saw this. No dout more than I ever expected...

I think the product would be fine, however it is used and I thought I was buying a new machine. One of the arrays out of the 4 isn't working and one of the wristbands isn't working properly. Also one of the other arrays is dirty. I cannot figure out how to contact the seller and not much info on the manufacturer. The one instruction sheet is very vague and doesn't fully explain the use and also even though it says it has a warranty that information is blank! I love the foot detoxing in itself and was planning to use it not only on myself but as part of a business. I think if I can get a proper machine and instructions it would be fine.
