This review is from: The Ionosphere: Communications, Surveillance, and Direction Finding (Orbit: A Foundation Series) (Hardcover)
A great book to start for those new to this field. No physics background required. Covers HF propagation, communications, single station location, and over-the horizon radar including coordinate registration. Read this from cover to cover before prior to any other texts in this field.
Note that Amazon is currently showing a photo of the wrong book - the photo is showing an earlier text "Radio Amateurs Guide to the Ionosphere," not the stated "The Ionosphere: Communications, Surveillance, and Direction Finding." The latter contains most of not all the material in the former. |
