This is one of the greatest ethnic musicals ever. I saw the original musical in New York in the 70's, own the record, the video, and the CD. I show the video to my classes and they love it. This is ONE time when everyone is still and attentive.

The music is lively and gripping and invites you to sing along. If you buy the CD, you absolutely must have the DVD or video!

I have many CD's with African music that I love but I think this rates on the top. It is joyous, wonderful, delightful, uplifting and just plain fantastic to listen to. I got my copy a week ago and have almost worn it out listening to it. The songs are great and the voices marvelous. I highly recommend this CD.
